A Good Read!

Alex Cross discovers a hint to whom he believes the person they are looking for is; so each time this person is exposed, it is the wrong one. Yet one more bad person is off the street. So now you, hope the evidence shows this next person is the one and it's not but to many are dieing an you are wondering whose next. (can't get to specific)

I enjoyed his reading.

No.

The story line was good, I was just ready for more Roses Are Red pulls you in one direction, gets you comfortable then spins the chair around before yanking it from under you. It leaves you bloody and wanting more.

In Cross Country, Alex Cross travels to Africa and learns more about the association of the death of an old friend and the foriegn trade industry.

Cross Country took the African plight and made the reader assume a position in Africas' battles. The reader is unable to turn away from what's happening to humans by the hands of others for diamonds or oil. Families uprooted, daughters and mothers raped, entire families killed all for profit of the government (but which one).

I have listened to Peter J. Fernandez and become very comfortable with his style and tempo. I enjoy his tone and levels. Dion Graham, I enjoyed in this read. Not sure if I heard Dion read before.

I enjoyed the book eminently, I could have listen to it all in one sitting

James Patterson reveals his concerns for the people throughout the World and used Cross Country and Alex Cross to ensure his readers do not remain in the dark. I appreciate this.

I would most definitely listen to "Cross" again, as a matter of fact, I almost did.

I would say this is a close comparison to the "The Weasel"

I believe I have heard these two readers together, and I enjoyed the movement of the story, the grab the listener an make them hold on type readers.

Never in one sitting if I can help it. I would take an hour or so break process the information and began again. Too intense, to much information for one sitting.

I was really getting caught up in this "Butcher" character, then I realized James Patterson build him up to much to be real.

In a real college town, the buddy system would have came into play, no one would have been allowed to walk alone. Those that were alone, would have carried some sort of protection, pepper spray, pocket knife, concealed weapon, etc. and knew how to use them.

I don't believe in a hitman, who can't hit the side of a barn and I believe every mean hearted person that read this story laughed to read people thought they were so incompetent.

But for entertainment, I thought it was awesome. It kept me wanting more; not knowing how Mr. Patterson was going to wrap this one up but he did and the Alex Cross saga continues.

Maybe, (Yes); A womans' murderous adventures of the past return to destroy a city.

Finding that love can go awry on so many levels;

The Narrators would bring their own tempo to the story; even a new timeline.

The book could bring the reader to sadness in Alex Cross' life and a place of rejoicing when Mary is caught

Mary, Mary. is a very good story. I was pulled into this story as if it was on the daily news. I was really glad it was only a story. I would walk around singing the chorus "Mary, Mary why you bugging" trying to solve the cases in my head. I did enjoy the book quite a bit.

I would listen to this story again, not because I missed any portion but because it grabbed me early and would not let me go.

Other than Alex Cross, I would say the Weezel. the Weezel continued to pop up at the most in opportune time. Yes, he was following orders and as soon as he took matters into his own hands . . . .

Each brought the experience of being there at the scene, not being able to pull away because you were in pursuit or about to raid a house. You were there in the action with Alex and didn't want to leave.

If time would have permitted, yes. But the times I had made it great, Wow.

The echoing of the chapters was a little annoying other than that I really enjoyed this story. I don't know how Mr. Patterson pulls these situations together so quickly, but I am so glad he does. Thanks

The Big Bad Wolf portrayed Alex Cross more as a Family oriented man even though he spent his time balancing work, training and chasing the Big Bad Wolf. It appeared at any moment he would turn in his badge and dedicate his life to holding his family together. Then Jame Patterson throws in a twist and as always the reader is left wondering what will Alex do and what will happen next?

Yes, Not knowing who the Wolf was or will the Wolf affect Alex's family? Not knowing who was the inside man/woman? Asking myself has Alex had enough of the FBI's lack of street smarts, it will get them killed.

I think so, not sure. But this was good. It kept my attention, no slurs or studders. Very enjoyable

I never listen to a book in one sitting, unless I'm on a long trip. I have to take a break to digest what I just heard.

In this story I realized the guards goal was to become Pittacus Lore to defeat the enemy

No changes to the narrator but the recording messed up bad on Chapter 16

No inspiration from the Rise of Nine - I did not see number nine excelling or the guards who were identified doing anything exceptional. So maybe. The Rise of Nine left me wondering who or what will rise?

The suspect in this story was pure evil and believed he was smarter or above the law.

I am pulled in by the various ways Alex Cross is pushed to the edge, yet he holds it together enough to do the right thing to catch the criminals

This book provoked anger in me because Shaffer was such a smart mouth; I don't believe I would have had the patience of Alex Cross.

My biggest complaint was Michael Kramer reading as an asthmatic was the thing I had to force myself to get pass. Mr. Kramer does not read all his narratives in this labored manner. I just didn't understand
