This is just a really good story, made better by the narrator!
I would listen again. This is an amazing story.
Very well done.
This story touched the core of me. I want to love others better, receive love from others more easily, and rest in Gods love always. Who would have thought a story book would evoke such a deep emotional response?
Thank-you Francine Rivers.and Kate Forbes
It took me a bit to get into this book, however once I got hooked, there was no stopping! I really enjoyed the suspense and drama. A bit too gruesome at some points for me, but all in all a very good book, well worth the credit!!!
I don't know how true this story really rings. I have had no contact with black people, except for rich folk, that have education, and money. I know some who treat us white girls like we are their servants. Some if them are kind, and considerate also. I really wish we could see beyond the skin color, and love each other. This book is a very interesting book.
This book is so good. AND interesting. The author makes you want to succeed. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to make healthier choices and wiser decisions in their eating habits. Not just for those who want to loose a lot of weight.
I expected more, as I read 'Skinny Dip' and really enjoyed it. This book is not as good.
This book is a long ranting tale of a disfunctional alcohol and substance abusive family. I can't even feel connected to the women who is the main character. The narration is sickeningly southern, and gets really hard to listen to. I'm sorry I bought this book.
Am not sure I will ever buy a book of hers again. and the singing sucked.
Started a bit slow, but I went through all emotions by the time I finished. Good author, and good narrator.
This book is not for middle aged or younger. I should have listened to all the bad reviews. This is definately not worth your credit. Go borrow the printed book at your local library, and you will see how utterly betty white dumb this book is... only worse x 100%.
I walked around for days after finishing this book feeling like the world is about to end. Obviously a pre-trib man is Tim Lahaye. Myself I am a pan trib person. Whatever pans out in the end....
