Yes. It was a book that the ending took me by surprise so I would go back and listen again. Also there were so many characters that it was hard keeping them straight.
Really learning what it was like for thm back in the late 50's and 60's. Most of this is not taught in school and I found seeing it through the womens eyes was fasinating.
Each character was wonderful but I think Rene was the best. she really showed that just because you were a famous astro wife you could alos fulfill your professional needs as well.
Life as an Astro wife..
Yes, it was a sweet and romantic book.
Parker and James. I enjoyed how difficult it was for them to come together but once they did it was a wibderul relationship.
Viv. I thought Justine did a great job with the voices, even though many of the men all sounded similar.
Parker, he sounds like the types of friends have and would want to surround myself with money or no money.
I loved the history, the characters and the overall story.
The relationships and the amount of strength the characters portrayed while expereincing horrific life situations.
I truly liked each caharter and though that the performaces were perfect and well done!
I can never do it but I did have trouble stopping when I needed to, so yes.
Karin Salughter did a fabulous job with this book and these characters. I feel like I know them and can not get enough of them. Will's father was a man most poeple would never want to know let alone be related to. But the part I liked the most was seeing the different sides of Amanda and Evelyn. The past and future of the book was thrilling.
The development of the characters. Learning Will's backstory.
She did a great job! LIke her reading and story telling voice.
Nurture vs Nature and at what cost....
I would reccomend this book, great book club due to some of the topics that can be discussed.
I liked the parents, probably beause I am one and tried putting myself in their shoes.
at first I did not like it but it actually grew on me as the book continued.
the mom! for her courage and most difficult decision ever!!!
Yes, it is a fun escape book that makes you laugh.
Amanda did a great job with her overall performance!!
Not extreme just over all fun
This is very high, it was a fun book and not though provoking but just plan fun!
The next best thing on my list, smashed, point of retreat
She did a great job, I do have to say she has a voice that sounds much older than 27. In the beginning I had to keep reminding myself she was younger than she sounded.
The dr. I wanted to see him and know him better. He seemed like a great guys.
I am not sure maybe someone who likes to hear the story over and over the same way.
No just this book, I understand she has no memory but it really gets boring hearing that over and over again.
The narrator was reading the book, the author needed to realize that you can only have the main character repeat herself so many time.
There was a great deal of fluff and it dragged knowing she has o memory one might want to get to the point a little faster.
When you realized who was a part of her kidnapping.
No this was the first one.
