The book does a nice job of reviewing the history of markets and provides more detail towards the end about the events that occurred within the past couple of years.
The detail within the past couple of years
A reminder of what happened and how we have been through this before.
It was inspiring to hear an argument for the good of society even if you do not agree with it.
Nicely read, seemed to understand the material
"To Expand Your Mind"
I never read the print version but I'm going to buy the book because I like the information.
It reminded me how easy networking can be and how we do it on a daily basis without even trying.
I'm going to make an effort to truly use the linkedin contacts I have. The book reminded me that just because you know the names of people doesn't mean you know them.
Good listen, reminds you that everyone is important and everyone knows somebody.
I enjoyed the book though I didn't agree with some of the ideas and conclusions. It's good to hear intelligent arguments even if I don't agree with them.
A hybrid perspective
Didn't read the print version. I also haven't seen the movie. This was a good break from the more serious books I listen to.
No favorite character
I laughed, even in public
A good distraction
The book is helpful in putting life and other things into perspective.
I enjoyed all of it. Even the advice I did not agree with I understood how it could help.
Nothing in particular, just the words of wisdom.
For me, it is to remember to forgive people for what they might do that seems out of character.
Its good to keep it downloaded and to listen to it again whenever you're feeling down, frustrated or things just don't seem right. Cheaper than paying a therapist.
It was a good reminder for those who lived through the 2008 crisis. For those who didn't pay much attention I believe it would still be a worthwhile listen. Its told in a manner that doesn't require much knowledge about the finance industry but for those who do have it you really get what Harry's saying.
Lots of jaw dropping while listening to the book on the train.
