In the second book of the Star Force series, Kyle Riggs has another bad year. The Nano ships have a new mission--one that sentences their pilots to death. Meanwhile, the governments of Earth want to steal Star Force's Nano technology for their own. Worst of all, Earth has made a promise to the Macros, and the machines are coming to collect.

No one in their right fictional mind would follow Kyle Riggs into combat. I have been hoping and praying that someone puts a bullet through his poorly used brain.

    Story

The year is 2315 and there is faster than light space craft. Space craft that easily take off from land and enter space in minutes without large booster rockets and return to land without thinking twice. Fighting alien rats using nukes that are as common place as .22 bullets. Yet the writer thinks that in 300 years we are still going to be using paper, there are still going to be wheeled verticals and there are still helicopters and propeller planes that sound like they still use combustible engines.

Captain Eric Weston and his crew encounter horrors, wonders, monsters, and people; all of which will test their resolve, challenge their abilities, and put in sharp relief what is necessary to be a hero. A first-rate military-science-fiction epic that combines old-school space opera and modern storytelling, Into the Black: Odyssey One is a riveting, exhilarating adventure with vivid details, rich mythology, and relentless pacing.

    Story

The story is ok however just is hard to believe. It is a scifi book so of course it isn't going to be true to life but the way it is writing trying to explain scientific terms it seems like the author wants it be close to real as possible. The performance was really lacking. It was hard to tell what characters he was speaking in because he really only had two character voices he could do.

In Storm Assault , the eighth book of the Star Force series, the story moves in a new direction. Massive fleets are built by both Star Force and the Imperials - but there is a third player in the game: the Blues.

it is easy to see that the "author" believes he would be the main character if this was real. He thinks he knows real military strategy but shows how little he knows. He repeats statements that were said only minutes before. Just all out a poor book and series with the only decent book being the first one. Only reason I got this far is because I have bad OCD and had to finish the series. I am so glad there are no more books and I will never ever get another book by this "author"
