Don’t Sweat. Don’t Laugh. Don’t draw attention to yourself. And most of all, whatever you do, do not fall in love with one of them. Gene is different from everyone else around him. He can’t run with lightning speed, sunlight doesn’t hurt him and he doesn’t have an unquenchable lust for blood. Gene is a human, and he knows the rules.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Hunt to be better than the print version?

    I wouldn't know.

What did you like best about this story?

A total vice versa vampire story! I love how the main character is considered the abnormal one and vampires are the norm. Humans are just food and in rare occasions entertainment. You just have to listen to it! Its not for everyone but then again no book is liked by everyone.

What does Sean Runnette bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I personally love him from his performances of Mark Tufo books. At first you are uncertain about his voice but he really grows on you!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The unique situation is funny alone. The mannerisms of the vampires are creepy and gross but also funny to me. Not laugh out loud funny. I guess more dark humor. There are some spenseful moments when you are rooting for the humans but don't know what's gonna happen.

    Any additional comments?

This book was just pure enrtertainment for me! A fun listen I didn't want to stop listening to. If you want something different this one is for you!

In 1948, an alien starship crash-landed in the New Mexico desert and brought with it the key to mankind’s future. Code-named the Rho Project, the landing was shrouded in secrecy, and only the highest-ranking US government and military personnel knew it existed. Until now....

If you could sum up The Second Ship in three words, what would they be?

    A great experience!

What did you like best about this story?

It has everything you want in a story if you like sci-fi, thriller, suspense, amazing characters, romance, mystery spy. I listened to all three books within a week or less. I am a stay at home mom so I have more time to listen. My kids aren't small anymore. Anyways, this series is among the best for me. One I would listen to again to find little things I missed. There is so much depth to it. Plus I just want to hear it again!

    Which scene was your favorite?

    When they find the ship.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were so many moments to choose one.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Definitely! This series has everything a sci-fi thriller should have. Though its based on three teens it is not a teen book. There is a lot of violence and suspence with just the right amount of romance and plenty sci-fi. This review is based on the whole series. So you have to listen to all three for the whole experience! Start with The Second Ship!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Immune?

I remember the series as a whole. So I can't really say specifically. That should say something great about the story.

What about MacLeod Andrews’s performance did you like?

Everything! He did an awesome job! There are a lot of characters and he gave them all destinct voices.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes!

    Any additional comments?

This series takes you on a ride you don't want to end!

What did you love best about Beautiful Creatures?

The characters. Each character is so well developed. Their personalities are made so alive by the narraration. You start to feel that you really know them. The story is unique and full of different emotions. I definitely recommend it if you enjoy magical stories with mystery and secrets. It is a love story but not a sappy girly romance one. Hope that makes sense.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Beautiful Creatures?

Don't want to make any spoilers.

Have you listened to any of Kevin T. Collins’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, but I will definitely try to find other books he has done. Every voice is completely different, fitting each character perfectly.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

    Yes, but once again spoilers.

    Any additional comments?

I gave it a four overall because when compared to every book I have read or listened to, it's not quite up there with the fives. Though, the narration is one of the best.
