This is a follow up book to Crucial Conversations and not a lot of new information was presented.
I learned a lot about myself and others. I will listen to it again.
The information in this book should be taught as a basic skill for everyone. My wish is for this communication tactic to become 'common knowledge' shared in the home, schools and workforce.
I learned how to project confidence and some tell I (and others) give when they are not feeling confident. I was also intrigued with the body language tells to watch for when negotiating. I used the 2 minute power pose with my daughter ringette team (that struggles with the belief they can win) and that game was by far their best to date. There were quite a few take aways from this book.
Although this is about an interesting topic and time in our history this story was writen without any class. Lots of bad lanuage made it impossible to listen to.
Tell the author to grow up and get some class. There is no need for profanity like that in this type of book.
