I had to think about the ending. I'm not sure if I liked it. It did make me think though. I just thought it either was a dream or just written in a hurried way. Not much closure for our hero. On the other hand, it did make me think. It did make me feel Depressed, but, that's how it goes.

Great Read! As close to cannon as you can get for an EU book! I can't say enough about it. I wish all Star Wars novels could live up to this one. The book explained much of the backround for Ep I. I absolutely loved it!!

There's so many of them!!! Watching Plagueis and Sidious manipulate everything and everyone, And Explaining some of the backstory and motivations of Sifo-dyas and Doo-koo was very well done.

It was my first time listening to him. I was impressed with his voice quality and tone. To be honest, No disrespect to the other Star Wars voices, but He was a welcome change. I won't miss the brooding, monotone of some of the other readers. I do love Jonathan Davis though, but this was a nice change, especially considering a lot of the book involves dialogue and not action sequences.

Seeing Mauls backstory! Very cool!

To be perfectly honest, this is the worst book or audiobook I've read or listened to since Alan Dean Foster's THE APPROACHING STORM.The Author , Karen Miller takes many liberties with the characters , including Obi-wan, Bail Organa, And Padme. For example, Everyone knows that in Episode 2, Attack of the Clones, Obi-wan goes into the nightclub, and Has a drink, But in this story, Obi-wan refuses to drink, because, "Jedi do not drink". Also, Bail Organa and Obi-wan Kenobi's constant bickering is so out of character for both that I just could not listen to the book for more then 15 minuted at a time. The implied love affair between Padme and Organa was just too much for me. There are many other examples that make this story not fit into in Universe and Expanded Universe storylines. I enjoy Karen Travis's handling of the Clone Wars Series, But I am concerned that with Mrs. Miller Storytelling, The series will be a flop. I sure hope she is not writing for the cartoon series. If' I were you, I wouldn't waste my time listening to this book.
