Seconds before the Earth is demolished to make way for a galactic freeway, Arthur Dent is plucked off the planet by his friend Ford Prefect, a researcher for the revised edition of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy who, for the last 15 years, has been posing as an out-of-work actor.

It's not your fault you didn't like this book or like this movie. This is part of the way the world works in that everything is based on a variety of personalities, and those personalities are created based on your childhood, which of course is almost completely random, in the fact that you don't choose your parents, and you grow up in an environment that is completely unknown....yet eventually you gain some intelligence and you find out about stuff, so then because you become a little more aware and responsible for your own thoughts, thus you come to realize the truth of some movies that you didn't understand before. the question is, why. the answer might be inbedded in your sense of humor. at least is the case for the current movie we are discussing of which if you feel annoyed by this review then your sense of humor is probably based on your patience which is more than likely low because you were not given time as a child to develope a sense of humor. A sense of humor comes from being able to stand back and judge any given incident with a sense of confidence, having been in this situation before and at this point can now laugh at it. Even if you have not been in this situation before, you can pretend, or try to imagine yourself in that situation, and pretend to laugh at it. If you find that you cannot laugh at the situation and you finally have become so bored and frustrated that you are so tired of reading the document that tells how to have a sense of humor, then you might be better to buy an audio book, where you just have to close your eyes and listen. Let your mind do the walking.

if you can like this, you'll like this book.
