    Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

    Excellent reader. I found a few facts to be inaccurate. Overall it would have been good but I kept being distracted by all of the production errors. It is as if they skipped the editing step when producing the audio.??


    Would you be willing to try another one of Patrick Lawlor???s performances?

    How did the narrator detract from the book?

    The narrator must really love his peanut butter. If you are sensitive to disgusting mouth sounds, this book is not for you. The Audible-page sample audio is pretty clean and not so ??representative of the mind-numbing 24-plus hours. If you listen in the car or another noisy environment, you will be fine. Otherwise, be warned.??

    This could have been titled ???Training at NASA,??? but it was not about Mars, science, or ???the void.??? I counted the word ???Mars??? being used 11 times throughout the whole book. There was no information on the preparation necessary to plan a trip to Mars. Half of the text was annoyingly bracketed in incessant ???note/end note??? pairs.
