"Great book that gets you hooked from the start!"
I downloaded the preview chapter when audible was giving us the first 2 chapters, after I listened to them, I pre-ordered "Suspect." This is absolutly a great story!!! loved it! Different kind of story than the normal Elvis Cole/Joe Pike series, but great in it's own right!
"What is Sure to be a New Popular Action Series"
This book picks up after the events in "Black Site" and quickly catches your attention. Well thought storyline that has depth to it, that will keep you listening. Smooth flowing, not rushed, but not bogging down either, the tempo of the book was good! Continued character development, makes Kolt Raynor more personable, and relatable.
I felt like this book was well thought about and the author took his time creating the plot and storyline. It wasn't rushed out, lacking in details and depth like some books in a new series that is popular.
"Great"
A well written inside look at the operators, their preparations, and their mission to kill Osama Bin Laden. No political agenda, unlike The Finish, by Mark Bowden.
"Political Agenda"
I downloaded this book, because it said, if you liked No Easy Day, then you'll like The Finish, or something like that. But I didn't find the two books alike at all. No Easy Day focused on the operators, the preparations, and the mission. The Finish seemed like it had more of a political agenda, and focused more on the politicians....just in time for the elections too.
"Loved it! Better than Michael Crichton!"
It's too bad that this is James M. Tabor's debut novel. After I listened to this book, I was hoping to find more books by this author, but there are none yet. Will definitely look forward to future books by James M. Tabor.
There was a lot of things in this book that I had little knowledge of, but he does a good job, at making the reader/listener understand the science, and technologies.
If you like me, think that the narrator plays an important roll, in the the portrayal of the novel, Paul Michael does a great job in The Deep Zone!
"Mark Greaney already stands among the best"
Definitely would, but you have gotta listen to, "The Grey Man" first.
Fast non-stop, with twists and turns around every page. Greaney has come up with plots that are extremely original.
