TOTALLY!!! Probably my favorite book in the series now!
"Wait, you work for me?"
"I prefer to think of it as managing your incompetence."
Marsters is a king among orators. He keeps getting better with each year.
Molly... the end... ouch...
READ IT!!! ... ...why aren't you read it yet?
This one started off a lot darker than many of the Dresden books, and that's saying something! I thought it was less jovial, somewhat depressing, and bleak. Yes there were laughs, but not as many belly laughs that you might get from other books... But hells bells, there were some great turn arounds. This book set sooooo many things into motion. The last book did that too, but it also showed us the Dresden world for what it was. The last one ended hard. This one... actually ended on a relatively happy moment, and Harry's character needed that. I think us fans needed that too... But that just means a storm is coming... 5 more books to go!!!!!!
I'm kinda picky, but I've enjoyed them. Haven't been too impressed by the writers abilities, but it has been simple and enjoyable.
Erm... A much better written version of Twilight? But twilight sets the bar low. No where near as good as Dresden files, but enjoyable.
... ... Another take on the same old story. It was enjoyable, I did enjoy it, but it was not that complex, there was not very many new ideas
Scalzi turns a character (who you're first inclination is to hate due to the fact that he's a complete jerk) into a man that you cheer on despite the fact that he's still a complete a-hole. You just can't go wrong with that!
Laugh a bunch, not so much cry but made me a little sad
Awesome sauce John, keep it up!
