"Not Up To Par"
Disjointed and disappointing!
"Please Replace The Narrator!"
I've listened to every one of Molly Harper's wonderfully imaginative and funny books---and LOVED them all! Unfortunately, this novella's narrator absolutely ruined what was a very nice Valentine's Day gift from Audible. Please bring back Amanda Ronconi. She IS Jane Jameson. Thanks for 'listening'. Namaste', Linda
"Bring On Book 2"
The plot may be a bit predictable BUT the characters are delightful---and doesn't everyone want life to have a happy ending... Book 2 isn't due out until July 2012...MUCH too long to wait!
"Vintage Robyn Carr"
I've read some of the less than positive reviews and I have to say that they do hold some truth but.... I just finished grading final papers--it was a joy to close the grade book and listen to Therese Plummer's voice taking me back to Virgin River. Wonderful Christmas Present! Merry Christmas to All!
"A Must 'Read'!"
Every once in awhile a book comes along that is so eloquent and moving it is nearly impossible to put it down or stop listening. This is THAT book! I've tried to describe it to my reading friends---again nearly impossible. The narration adds so much depth that I feel like I'm living in Jackson in the 1960's. This is a must!
"Not Up To Par"
I have read many, many Danielle Steel books and I was markedly disappointed. The writing was repetative and redundant, much like her dedication. And, Ms. Steel gave the plot away before the story even began. The only saving grace was the narrator, Mel Foster.
