For the first time since she escaped from her school many months ago, Eve can sleep soundly. She's living in Califia, a haven for women, protected from the terrifying fate that awaits orphaned girls in The New America. But her safety came at a price: She was forced to abandon Caleb, the boy she loves, wounded and alone at the city gates. When Eve gets word that Caleb is in trouble, she sets out into the wild again to rescue him, only to be captured and brought to the City of Sand, the capital of The New America.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

No. The book didn't grip me but i suffered through it anyway.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Not much to say about the ending except you know what's going to happen in the next book

What didn’t you like about Tavia Gilbert’s performance?

Terrible. I couldn't stand the over dramatic voice. It wasn't believable and might be the reason i couldn't get into the book

Did Once inspire you to do anything?

    No

Jodi Picoult's poignant number one New York Times best-selling novels about family and love tackle hot-button issues head on. In The Storyteller, Sage Singer befriends Josef Weber, a beloved Little League coach and retired teacher. But then Josef asks Sage for a favor she never could have imagined - to kill him. After Josef reveals the heinous act he committed, Sage feels he may deserve that fate. But would his death be murder or justice?

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

    I already have!

What other book might you compare The Storyteller to and why?

Have read many on this subject but it's incomparable to anything I've read

    Which scene was your favorite?

Part II Minka's story. I couldn't stop listening. I cried a few times. I could picture everything. Beautifully descriptive.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Hmmm all of it but I would have to say to say minka's relationship with Frank

    Any additional comments?

I'm going to buy the book so i can always have it to read again
