A definite audiobook for any business person. This book is in the top 5 of business books I've read (and I've read them all). This is 2 and 1/2 hours well spent.
Will Patton is, once again, one of the best voices out there. His voice, combined with Gregg's story and Alan Light's literary skills, amount to a Rock & Roll autobiography unlike anything we have ever seen. Gregg comes across as an humble, flawed, rock & roll survivor with a passion for music generated by bass guitar, rhythm guitar, 2 drum kits, and a Hammond B3...no synthesizers here.
Gregg is the survivor. His homage to his brother Duane and Berry Oakley show him to be the keeper of the flame honoring 2 of the greatest Rock musicians that ever graced this planet.
Will Patton is the best voice out there!
This book puts to rest the 4 years of marketing I studied in college. BUT, it brings my understanding of effective marketing into the 21st century. A great read, and well-narrarated!
Bugliosi's latest is a welcome breath of fresh air on a subject that has seen little since the mid 1960's. In particular, Bugliosi crushes Oliver Stone's mythical JFK film as the complete fraud that it was. Anyone having a sense of intellectual honesty on this subject oughtta do two things: 1. Watch JFK, 2. then read this book.
I thought Paranoia was a great listen. Its exciting, great twists and turns!
A great book, very thorough. An eye-opener compared to the movie. Narraration was good, a very enjoyable read!
Classic Grisham. A real "page-turner". Michael Beck does a great job of narraration.
