"Marvelous escapism"
I've just listened to The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings, and Rob Inglis' readings make me forget the Peter Jackson movies and remember my own imagined versions from reading Tolkien as a child. He performs the voices marvelously, and his singing is wonderful, rich and mellifluous. For yourself or a Tolkien fan, these are the perfect audiobooks. Buy them immediately! You won't regret it.
"Great mysteries and a wonderful narrator"
Simon Prebble has read most of the audio versions of Charles Todd's, and his readings are wonderful. Very rich and painful and macabre, much like the inspector himself. This wasn't my favorite of the series, but as usual, Prebble weaves the tale like a good play. You won't want to stop listening.
"Another perfect listen by Rob Inglis"

"Should this really be a mystery read?"
This book might have a secret, but it's not a mystery and suspense story, it's a novel. The narrator is excellent though and really pulls you into the story.
