Hailed by The New York Times as "a marvel of storytelling", The Things They Carried’s portrayal of the boots-on-the-ground experience of soldiers in the Vietnam War is a landmark in war writing. Now, three-time Emmy Award winner-Bryan Cranston, star of the hit TV series Breaking Bad, delivers an electrifying performance that walks the book’s hallucinatory line between reality and fiction and highlights the emotional power of the spoken word.

Would you listen to The Things They Carried again? Why?

I would absolutely listen to this book again. It was extremely well produced, with a great sound quality, masterful writing and amazing performance. Bryan Cranston managed to give life the the characters written by Tim O'Brien in a way that was so poignant, so vivid that it brought the writing to new heights. It was a wonderful and intense experience that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone in search for a high-quality audiobook.

The Great Gatsby, F. Scott Fitzgerald's portrait of the Jazz Age in all its decadence and excess, is, as editor Maxwell Perkins praised it in 1924, "a wonder". It remains one of the most widely read, translated, admired, imitated, and studied 20th-century works of American fiction.

If you could sum up The Great Gatsby in three words, what would they be?

After watching the new film with Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan, my interest in re-reading the Great Gatsby was renewed. Tim Robbins manages to give life and embody the narrator Nick in such a subtle and wonderful way, that the audiobook was almost more vivid and visual than the film. It was a wonderful production with a very high-quality sound and music. I absolutely loved it and couldn't turn it off, I highly recommend check it out!
