    Intellectually stimulating entertainment. Excellent plot/story. Many twists and turns keeping you at the edge of your seat and wishing for more at the end! Highly recommended!!


    What was one of the most memorable moments of Gone Girl?

    The suspense...ie I cannot reveal.

    It made me think.... and it will make all people think that went through some relationship crisis (as you should).

    Brilliant understanding of relationships and the human phyche. Not for the emotional/intelectual virgin, but rather for people ready to challenge conventional norms!

    Killed myself laughing at some of the hilarious descriptions in this "horror" story. Excellent mindless escape from reality!

    What made the experience of listening to Chasing Fire the most enjoyable?

    The setting for this love/adventure story is fresh and interesting. A winning recipe with a few delightful twists.


    How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

    Maybe tone the hero worshipping of the main characters down a little, but then again, who does not love a superhuman!


    What does Rebecca Lowman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    Great performance.

    Excellent entertainment on a mini break from reality. Highly recommended.

    The initial "blase teen" imitation of the heroine was OTT and made me cringe.

    All the sulky teen Cinderella parts.

    Best enjoyed while slightly tipsy. Not for the sober reader looking for something with substance.

    Interesting idea. Enjoyed the sense of humour, but would not remember the book in a year's time (and I don't have Alzheimers!). Would make for good movie material ie I'd be happy only to see the compact movie version.
