This is one of my top 10.books of all times. Just amazing for Veronica Roth's first novel. I have high hopes to see great things from this author. BUY THIS BOOK, YOU CAN THANK ME LATER!!!!

I just loved this book. Its well written, well narrated, and just a smooth flowing story.

Kelley Armstrong is just awesome... The first book of hers I stumbled upon was The Gathering, and it was such a good book I was upset to learn it was not a finished series yet. I did find, that the book was kind of a spin off series from some of her other books, so I bought them all. :) I loved all of them, and although this is my least favorite series done by Kelley Armstrong, its still a great series.

Kelley Armstrong is just amazing. I like every book she has, and I hope she puts out many more. This is the first book in a series, and I like the series very much. I will warn you, that it is not a normal series, and the characters are switched up often. The series in about the woman of the underworld, and though this first book is mostly about one of those woman, you wont really be hearing much from her in the series again until about book 6. Love the book, Love the series, Love the author, and Love the Narrator. Worth the credit.

This series is witty, and funny. I enjoy it so much. Its very entertaining and I would suggest it to a friend, as a matter of fact, I have. :) I don't think you will be disappointed.

This book started so good, but fell flat pretty quick for me. The baby fingers under the door was better starter then most zombie books I have read, but then I lost interest really quick. I think its because I could not emotionally relate to the characters. I found it hard to relate to them at all. The Lesbian who had found her soul mate and toughed out the controversy to be with the woman she loves, only to go after a man as soon as her soul mate turns zombie. The abused woman who took the abuse so her children didn't have to, only to find herself happy and free to be a bad ass in the new Zombie crazed world. Ummm.. Nope I cant relate to either of those, and those are the two main characters of the book. Its just dry, and though it was not the worst book I have in my library, It was lacking... Take my advice and keep looking. If you are looking for a zombie book, trust me, there are better out there.

After I finished this book, I read all of the reviews and was surprised by how bad the reviews for this book were. While I did think the narrator was a bit wrong in voice, and accents, she was not that bad, and got the inflections and tone right in my opinion. I might be the only one who liked this book better then the first. ??? I have no idea what makes me different from the majority of people, but there it is.

I have close to 300 books in my library, and have listened to every one... I have boxes of books on c.d. stacked in the closet, and am a complete audio junkie. So when I say this is the best it has to be something special. It's thought provoking, and educational. It's scary to think about how right on this scenario would be in the event of an emp on U.S. soul. Not only is this entertaining, but I think its a must read for every American.

I just love this series. Its just perfect. I have all of Mead's books, and though I liked V/A, this series took the top spot in the line up of Mead's books to me.
