Very strange, indeed.
Harry Potter, it's the only other children's story about magic that I've read.
Yes. Jim Dale is my very favorite and this one is just as good as the others
Yeah but I commute to work by bicycle and only listen while I ride.
I wish there were more Jim Dale narrations to choose from.
It is fast-paced and fun. I never got bored.
The romance and action.
No. But this is only the first book and I will listen to all of the others in the series and he narrates them all.
I have read and loved all of the books in this series and they are my all-time favorites.
It was painfully boring.
Yes, I loved Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn.
He over did it a bit.
All of them. I would prefer it if the book didn't exist at all. Once I start a book, I have to finish it and this was more like a chore than something enjoyable.
I am usually pretty easily entertained but this was almost an agony to finish it. I guess after his other books I just was expecting something excellent.
Yes, and I plan to as soon as I finish listening to every other book by this dynamic duo. I am so pleased to have found these books. I enjoy every minute.
Jane is my favorite, probably because she is the main character but I love them all. I love the flawless way Amanda's voice changes when she switches characters.
Jane. Amanda is spectacular and I love the way she does Dick's voice too and she is so graceful when she shifts characters. I really don't have the vocabulary to praise these books or their narrator sufficiently.
Yes. I hate to turn it off and I hate even more to finish it.
I never thought I would find a book I would enjoy as much as I enjoyed listening to Jim Dale read Harry Potter but I do enjoy listening to Molly's books just as much.
The author is so witty and funny and the narrator is phenomenal. I never listen to a book by Molly Harper and find myself thinking I'm bored.
It is difficult to pick out any certain part. It was so fun all the way through.
Every scene was my favorite. This book made me laugh out loud, frequently.
It made me laugh, a lot. I didn't laugh till I cried but I certainly listen with a smile on my face the whole time.
Listening to books by Molly Harper has become my favorite thing to do. They make my 12 mile bicycle commute in the rain the most enjoyable part of my day.
Both are awesome but Amanda Ronconi makes it so fun.
Yes, this and all the other books by Molly that I have listened to.
I really, really enjoy this author and this narrator. I had to stop listening with my ear buds at work because people looked at me strangely when I would burst out laughing for no apparent reason.
Jolly good fun!
It was witty and funny.
When she said something about a ninety-year-old woman trapped in a vampire's body,
The narrator was excellent and the story was fantastic. Highly enjoyable!
I liked that there was some mention of Jesus. I was disturbed by the rest.
She was the best part. I will get other books narrated by her. She was fantastic. I was repelled by the story but loved listening to her.
Yes, stop listening to fiction about the life of Christ.
I guess I should have expected it to be way out there but since Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John's testimonies were a mirror of each other, I wanted it to be a female aspect of what they had said.
I didn't read it but may have understood it better if I had.
I didn't have a favorite.
When the youngest daughter was snake bitten.
Important but disturbing and sad.
Being kind or karma will get you.
I am glad I purchased the book. I liked it a lot.
