"Just get it and Listen to It!"
For any American History buff, it is a must, A superb description of Marbury v Madison, the issues surrounding the same, and the personages involved. John Marshall towers in early American history, and I hardly knew him at at all. Long enough to learn something from, but short enough not to bog down, Well read. Get it.
"Just a very solid storyteller"
Ken Follett's first novel-just a very solid storyteller who is one of my favorite authors. Th Audible presentation is different in that there are different readers for different characters. I thought it done well, and the storyline speaks for itself. If you enjoy well written historical fiction, Mr. Follett is always a solid bet.
"The Best Way Learn History"
This novel, and its predecessor, The Winds of War, are two of the best pieces of histoical fiction that I have ever read or listened to in my long reading life. The books are long enought to truly develop characters. The careful depiction of historical figures and context is simply extraordinary. The narration, both in pacing and intonation, is superb. Listen to these books. You will not be disappointed.
