Kate Reading has to be one of the most talented narrators around. I could listen to her all day, and have! I've been a fan of the wilderness series for years, and love this book and thought the ending was good for such an amazing series. I'm really sad to see it end, though! The only thing I can find fault with, and that drove me nuts the whole book, was the "Birdie" character. I kept wanting to spank her--really annoying. Nobody would or should treat a 10 year old child like this or give her this much attention when there's a whole clan of kids! I realize the author was using her to tell parts of the story, but I'd rather she'd done it with an adult character--this drove me nuts! Otherwise, awesome series!
