Excellent meditation. I especially like the swirling sounds of the gong for clearing out negativity. I have listened to the second half of this recording 9 times so far and plan to keep using it. Harijiwan Khalsa masterfully guides you through each of the Chakras. He writes on his website:
"The universe is powered by sound. The gong is the basic creative sound. Out of the gong comes all music, all sounds, all words. The sound of the gong is the nucleus of the Word. The mind was created out of this sound: it is like the father and mother together. The gong is the first and last instrument for the human mind."

I would like to have more meditations with the gong. The harmony of the mind within the waves of sound is energizing and empowering.

19 hrs and 26 minutes spin by -and it's over before you're ready for it to end - it's that fascinating. 'The Source Field Investigations: The Hidden Science and Lost Civilizations behind the 2012 Prophecies' was written AND read by David Wilcock -the reincarnation of Edgar Cayce. No one else could have read it. Fans of David want to hear David. He doesn't disappoint. There's nothing else like it. I've listened to it twice -when you hear what he has to say- you will too.

My favorite listen during my recent battle with the flu was 12 hrs of Ram Das explaining the Bhagavad Gita. (Recorded in 1974) I like the part in the Gita where Ram Das and Timothy Leary get fired from Harvard for ordering a half million dollars of LSD for research. Sooo sick I couldn't sleep- Sat on my couch all week with my i-pod. Spent 7 hrs in 1920's Paris with Hemingway & his unfinished novel 'A Moveable Feast' -the new Ed. LOVED every second of it -like crack cocaine to a writer. I WILL listen to it again and again. I esp enjoyed hearing his son and grandson. Thank you for this.

Last night at 2:30 AM I was crying, at 6:30 AM I laughed out loud and woke up the dog. No, I wasn't having a break down, at least not yet- I was listening to Stephen King's new book 11-22-63. Get the awards ready- to save time -just give them all to King. Out of 605 books I've downloaded from Audible since April 2005, this book is the best book, and Craig Wasson is the best narrator. I've never been a King fan, I love Literary Fiction, but the 'Time Travel' got me and I'm so glad it did. Considering the subject matter, this is not the right word -but wow-this a FUN book!

What perfect timing to be reading this book in Dallas 2011, traveling back in time with a school teacher to change history. "Come on George -only 2 more days to save JFK." On the day John F. Kennedy was shot, the 16 year old Stephen King was sitting in the back of a hearse- How Stephen King is that! I was 19, on the golf course at UNT. I've lived in Dallas all my life with all the ghosts -the School Book Depository, Dealey Plaza, President Kennedy's motorcade route, the Grassy Knoll, the Sixth Floor Museum. "Oh you're from Dallas where Kennedy was killed."

Who hasn't thought about a World where Kennedy lived? This book is that, and so much more. A love story, murder and the Maine town of Derry for the King devotees. I asked my husband if he wanted to listen to 11-22-63, he said, No, he didn't read Stephen King. That's what I thought. I was wrong. Don't miss this trip down the Rabbit Hole.

Thrilled with this book - couldn't wait for it to get here. Everything I expected and more. Hate the headlines "Oprah Winfrey Forgives Author Jonathan Franzen." He didn't do anything that needed forgiving. Listen to his essay in 'How to Be Alone' on Oprah's staff trying to film him in his old house for a video clip on her Book Club 'The Corrections' show. Since when do we have to be forgiven for wanting to keep our dignity? Don't get me wrong - I like Oprah -but I choose my own books. It kind of hurt when I saw her announce 'Freedom' as her book club pick. I am happy more people will read the book, but do we have to sell our souls to sell our books? Oh Jonathan, say it isn't so. Come back to us. You are better than this.

I got so frustrated with Little Nell -I mean Mary Gooch -I wanted to stop reading. But,the story is so well written I couldn't give up. I think the message of Mary and her life helped me with my life. If you're a postmenopausal woman buried alive in a pit -I recommend this book.

Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 10 years ago, I can truly say- this book is a miracle. I was in horrible pain when I downloaded it yesterday. Tonight I feel like I could climb a mountain. Actually I am pretty sure I did. I thought I had cracked a rib, and I planed to see my doctor in the morning. Now, I'm going swimming instead.
PLEASE - if you are suffering any pain - give this book 6 hours and 23 minutes of your life. You've tried everything else.

My Mother died last year. We didn't have a good relationship. I was at the grocery store this week trying not to see all the people buying Mother's Day flowers, cards , and gifts. Is it a coincidence that I was in my bed crying on Mother's Day - using my Ten's unit for the pain? I already knew that I had a lot of unresolved issues with myself and my life, but I really thought I was getting them nicely under control.
Because of "The Divided Mind" I feel a weight has been lifted off of me.
I will be buying a hard copy of Dr. Sarno's book. This is an abridged version - I want to read every word.
I know I sound insane. I remember seeing John Stossel on 20/20 saying Dr. Sarno cured his back pain. At the time I thought it was the power of suggestion.
Well- I definitely suggest you give this book a chance to change your life. What do you have to loose - except your pain?
I don't care if the pain comes back. I feel empowered to deal with it.

Bad Twin is a must for all devout Losties. The author Gary Troup is not only an anagram for Purgatory - it is also Parrot Guy - which is way more fun to contemplate. A great listen as you surf the Lost web sites trying to guess who actually wrote the book. Stephen King denies the rumors.
Interesting mystery story nicely read. Who doesn't love a bad twin/ good twin tale full of clues about your favorite show? Cross your finger's the Castaways discover another Paul Artisan Private Investigator story.

Cloud Atlas is like no other book. What can possibly follow it? I think I am hypnotized. I feel sorry for my next listen.
But - Caution - it is definitely not for everyone. Either you get it -or you don't. If you are looking for something light and easy - forget it.
I would love to take a collage class on this book. When you finish it - you want to talk to other people who read it. You want to immediately go back and hear it again.
All the narrators are talented, magnificent voices that bring the characters alive. Wonderful presentation. The absolute best I have encountered with an audio book. Love hearing all the strange invented words and languages pronounced aloud.
David Mitchell has written a novel of human experience that will be studied for years to come. I know a lot of people hated this book and found it unreadable, I wish they could have stayed with it. In my opinion, nothing can compare to it. This is the finest book I have experienced in years. There are no words left exciting enough to describe it. Mitchell used them all.
