The stories all played to the theme really well. There was really only one story that I just didn't like.
There where stories from Kevin Hearne and Jennifer Estep both authors that I really love. My one grip was that for my fav authors stories I wish that the narrators for their series had been used cause they have a better sense for the characters they are reading about and listeners already relate to them.
I also found a couple of stories that made me want to see what some of the authors have out. This was a pretty good listen.
I was about to lose a credit because I was about to go over my limit. I just picked this book without even thinking I would like it. But I loved it and can't wait for the next one. I wasn't expecting to get so caught up in this story but how glad I am to be wrong. In the situations she got in to many people much younger would have given up but she always found a way to keep going. Here's to the next book in the series.
I haven't heard this story in years. It was really nice to hear this again with my daughter and she really enjoyed it while we where driving to her dance competition.
The story was really good but the voice ing wasn't.
The beginning when she was discovering what she has become. And her first blood drinking.
No I'm sorry but Susan was a bit on the flat side and each character sounded pretty much the same.
I would have been a better read on paperback.
I can identify with some of the book descriptions on how getting new glasses makes you feel. However, the book didn't leave a lasting impression. It was just ok.
These story's gross me out, bring tears to my eyes, and makes me laugh. What more can you ask for from an author. Thanks
This book was too short. I'm so ready for the next one! Oberon is my favorite character I know it's silly but he is. Every time I though I knew what was about to happen I was surprised especially since the people that died where not the ones I thought would die. Just wish that more detail was given then the iron was killing fairies as the reason for so much hatred. For me that part was a little rushed but either way I loved it.
This is amazing. I'm not sure how Mr. Maberry will be able to top this story but I cant wait to see if he will try.
This is the Anita I know and love but a little more grown up. I like that this book is starting to close off some of the lose ends cause it was getting a heavy handed with the so many people and story lines. I felt like it was starting to create spinoff characters which didn't always fit with the story we where reading. I've never had a problem with the sex scenes and I still don't. I hope that the next book keeps adding to the main relationship like this one did and doesn't' create more side action till the main setup is straight.
alot in a little bit of time. This is a nice story about a quick romance and the possibility that it can turn into something more. I think i'm going to take the time to see what else this author has to offer.
Its fun and light hearted. Looking forward to book 6 for more snark, action, and romance.
