"Oh My! This book sucks!"
H- No
Terrible writing, cringe inspiring dialogue, boring characters, Christian Grey is annoying, Ana has no brain cells.
Doesn't matter who reads it, the book is cheesy as heck.
all the sex scenes, Christian needs to STFU during sex, all the dialogue, every "OH MY" and "HOLY CRAP" phrase, every mention of Ana's Inner Goddess, and Subconscious.
I didn't know it was fan fiction, it is written by a total amateur. I want my credit back.
"Broken Series"
I miss the wolfpack. I miss the action. I miss the change and the hunt. Yet another disappointing book in the story of the wolves. What a sad turn of such wonderful characters from the first novel, "Bitten". It all began with the introduction of too many Supernaturals in "Stolen". There is even less wolf action in this book, the story takes you on a wild goose chase but with no real satisfying results, a lot of boring dialogue and yet more boring supernatural characters I do not care about. I was hoping the wolves would be running around in Victorian England, but alas no, they are mostly in Toronto. In addition, the main characters are no longer real, just more one liners and more sarcasm. I miss the wolf behaviors and the feeling the first book gave you, of wildness, nature and love, bonding and gore! The narrator doesn't help as all the voices sound the same and Elena sounds like a younger Bea Arthur from the 50's. I suppose I will read Frozen to see what happens to Elena and Clay, but I won't have high expectations.
"Real apocalypse will happen before this story ends"
I like many reviewers found the first part of the book very enthralling. I invested in the original characters and wanted more. BUT, I have started part 2 and find myself falling asleep during the reading....repeatedly! I cannot seem to get very interested in the new characters at all and it is so hard to follow who is who and starting to ask myself, do I even care? After reading the many negative reviews here and on amazon, I am wary of investing more time only to have to wait the next 4 years for the books to be completed (2nd book out in 2012, 3rd out in 2014). I think I will take a break and maybe read a little in the next two years to draw it out, or maybe I will just get another book, like the Road, and forget this one altogether.
