I found this book to be ok! It was interesting, but I don't feel the same fire I used to feel with the first five books that I listened to. Perhaps it is becauase Adam and Mercy are already together now and before I loved the little dance around their feelings that they used to do. Don't get me wrong it was a lot better than the last book which I did not really like much at all, and after waiting over a year for this book, it was worth the wait, but didn't have me jumping at the end. Still, I cannot wait until the next book.
Not as good as Birthmarked, but not entirely bad either. Uncovering the truth was a great climax. I was not as pleased with this book as I was Birthmarked, but it was okay.
When I read Birthmarked I was excited....I thought it was a really good plot and thought it could be a match for the hunger games, but this last installment was horrible. The capture...escape...capture....escape was so boring I just wanted to be over already. Horrible ending to the trilogy. SOOOO disappointed!!!
This book was wonderful. I listened to the entire book in one day..... I could not stop listening. Boy do I wish I had a guy like Valak by my side. Loved it!
This is one of those books that keeps you captivated the entire time. I really enjoyed this book, and I would never have heard of it if it wasn't for the excerpt at the end of another book.
I swear I have not listened to a better matching of author and narrator on audible and I have listened to quite a few books on here. I could listen to Robert Petkoff all day long.....The book wasn't to shabby either. I love how she tied in The Dacian book series with The Immortals After Dark Series. Keep up the good work.
This book is different, and I love different when it comes to supernatural books. Just this little taste of a book has definitely wet my appetite for more. I will be listening to the next book in this series. I have listened to the narrator before in other books and did not like her then.....for some reason, in this series (I think it is because the author is different), she is wonderful and I enjoy her narration.
I am certainly no teenager, but I have to say that this book keeps me more intrigued then the Twilight series. This was of course a nice sequel to the first book and I enjoyed it very much. So much that as soon as I was done I listened to the third book.
Great short novella before the second book.....I am happy that I was able to listen to it before hand.
Again I loved this book. I love the storyline and the narrator is one of my favorites. The fact that I have to wait for however long for another book is pure torture, so I have decided to listen to the series again from the beginning while I sit in wait for the next book. I always laugh at Charlie, but man she always ends up in trouble...bad trouble. Oh well, I guess you can do that when Hot...Hot...Hot Reyes has got your back....(did I mention that he was hot)?
I am entranced by these novels.....They aren't just about sex, but about two grown ups learning to love each other while still finding themselves. I enjoy these books so much better than the 50 shades series....It feels as if the "Crossfire" series was written for adults, ones that have real problems and live in the real world. The story line is wonderful and so sad at the same time. I could not stop listening. Definitely an A+
