Daunted by the singular tastes and dark secrets of the beautiful, tormented young entrepreneur Christian Grey, Anastasia Steele has broken off their relationship to start a new career with a Seattle publishing house. But desire for Christian still dominates her every waking thought, and when he proposes a new arrangement, Anastasia cannot resist.

This book to me was better than the first.....It focused more on the relationship instead of just the sex. It also helped that the narrator's voice didn't sound like a 13 year old child. The vulnerability of Christian was easier to see, and he almost seemed like a real human being. Not the best book I have read all year, and definately not worth all of the hype, but still a good read!

The details of the crime scene are no coincidence. The body — a promising starlet — has been battered, bloodied and then discarded between two of Manhattan’s oldest graveyards. One look and Detective Jude Crosby recognizes the tableau: a re-creation of Jack the Ripper’s gruesome work. But he also sees something beyond the actions of a mere copycat. Something more dangerous...and unexplainable.

The book was okay....A little on the dull side, but okay. Not a favorite of mine, but I love the narrator in a few other books so I gave this one a shot.

It was okay....but was missing something. I am all about death though (the character not the act of), he sounds hot! However, I am not exactly jumping to read the next book in the series if you know what I mean.....I guess if I have time I will try to take a look, but there are no guarentees.

Sometimes being the grim reaper really is that. Grim. And since Charley’s last case went so awry, she has taken a couple months off to wallow in the wonders of self-pity. But when a woman shows up on her doorstep convinced someone is trying to kill her, Charley has to force herself to rise above. Or at least get dressed. She quickly realizes something is amiss when everyone the woman knows swears she’s insane.

With wings of midnight and an affinity for shadows, Jason courts darkness. But now, with the Archangel Neha's consort lying murdered in the jewel-studded palace that was his prison and her rage threatening cataclysmic devastation, Jason steps into the light, knowing he must unearth the murderer before it is too late. Earning Neha's trust comes at a price - Jason must tie himself to her bloodline through the Princess Mahiya, a woman with secrets so dangerous, she trusts no one. Least of all an enemy spymaster.

This book was okay, but it most certainly not as good as Archangel's Blade. I don't think that this was bad, but not as good. I would like to see a story line on Venom......or BlueBell.

Paranormal private eye. Grim reaper extraordinaire. Whatever. Charley Davidson is back in Darynda Jones' Third Grave Dead Ahead! And she’s drinking copious amounts of caffeine to stay awake because, every time she closes her eyes, she sees him: Reyes Farrow, the parthuman, part-supermodel son of Satan. Yes, she did imprison him for all eternity, but come on.

I love these books. I cannot stop listening to these books, they are so funny, so interesting, so well written....I can never stop listening. I am up until the "wee" hours of the night/morning listening to these books. They have consumed me. I am in school and probably almost failed a class because of this series (well....not really, but it could have been a possibility). I am listening to the fourth book in the series, and then I have to wait until later on this year until the fifth comes out. I am going to go through withdrawls :). Great author and great Narrator!!!!!

I found this book to be ok! It was interesting, but I don't feel the same fire I used to feel with the first five books that I listened to. Perhaps it is becauase Adam and Mercy are already together now and before I loved the little dance around their feelings that they used to do. Don't get me wrong it was a lot better than the last book which I did not really like much at all, and after waiting over a year for this book, it was worth the wait, but didn't have me jumping at the end. Still, I cannot wait until the next book.

A smashing, award-winning debut novel that introduces Charley Davidson: part-time private investigator and full-time Grim Reaper Charley sees dead people. That’s right, she sees dead people. And it’s her job to convince them to “go into the light.” But when these very dead people have died under less than ideal circumstances (i.e. murder), sometimes they want Charley to bring the bad guys to justice.

I downloaded this book probably almost one year after I had purchsed it. I could kick myself. Once I listened to this book, quickly hurried to download the rest located on audible. I rarely find books who's storyline gets better and better with each book. I LOVE Charlie.....She is sooo freakin funny......I hope this series doesn't end anytime soon. I see that the fifth book is coming out this year "2013" I will be right there to purchase it. This book is soooo worth the credit.

Again....If I would have listened to all of the negative reviews I read for this book, I would never have listened to it. I have never been so GLAD that I ignored them. I found this book to be refreshing....A slow start, but about an hour into it, I could not stop listening. If you aren't into expressive writing and the use if imagery to describe all five senses, then this book is not for you. For instance the description of "rain" isn't just the falling of droplets in this book.......It's.......Something Else.......beautiful perhaps. It has been a long time since I have been able to see everything described in a book based off of the authors words. The narration was beautiful.....I cried....I cried a lot.....I cannot wait to listen to the next in the series. I wish audible would make the Novella "Destroy Me" available too! It's like X-men meets The Hunger Games........WONDERFUL!!

I almost did not purchase this book because of all the negative reviews. But when it went on sale I purchased it. I am glad I did. I was glad to have a new twist on things. I have listened to a lot of supernatural books and I liked this one. It started off a little slow for me and about an hour into the story I stopped the book and switched into another one. Then came back to this book. I loved it, and can't wait to listen to the next one.

When 15-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder - much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing, not even a smear of blood, to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?
