"Survival in the canyon or survival of the heart"
Getting to know Chance. He is sure he isn't cut out for love, but then he just hadn't met the right woman.
Mackenzie's Pleasure. Zane and Chance are a lot a like in being all male but sensitive to the female and having the desire to protect the woman.
She has a great voice and I liked her voice for all of the characters. Her voice expressions are right on.
You thought you knew yourself, but then the unexpected happened . . . love.
"Different Concepts"
I am not usually into this kind of book, but I found it interesting and entertaining. I like the characters. The only thing this author does that personally I don't like is spend too much time telling the reader what the character is thinking instead of conversation. I like more conversation. But all and all it was worth the credit and I might listen to another book in the series.
"Just got tired of it."
I read all of the other reviews before deciding to finish the series. At first I thought they were wrong, but as the story continued I just lost interest. Too much going on, doesn't stay with the other two books enough and like many others said, it needed more of Valek. Yelena kind of gets on my nerves in this book. Half of the middle of the book should have been skipped, got right to the point of the last part and it would have been better.
"Enjoyable characters falling in love - go for it"
I like Shane and Annabelle. The story is somewhat typical, but put it with the other wonderful Stryker family and of course all of the Fool's Gold family and you have a winner.
"Intriging characters-keeps your interest"
This was a totally different kind of book for me. I wasn't for sure if I would like it but the reviews were good so I went for it. My husband & I both liked it. We like the characters, the plots and the writing style of the author. The book moves with ease and keeps you wanting more. Definately worth the credit. I am going on for the 2nd & 3rd book in this series.
"Sweet Talk is a sweet story"
A good story about sisters trying to reconnect after having very different lives and a lot of misunderstandings. A good give and take and having the courage to look at their life situations, having the courage to see the other person's point of view and yet accept their own life and what it was and what it is now. Oh, don't forget the man and his daughter and the love that develops with one of the sisters. Enjoy, light hearted and enjoyable. Therese Plummer is one of my favorite narrators.
"Kath Wilhelm at her best"
Barbara Holloway and her team are challenged again. Carrington MacDuffie does an outstanding job narrating this book. Don't miss it. Get ready to listen and stay listening because it is hard to stop till you get to the end.
"Entertaining and different"
A great combo - Susan Mallery and Therese Plummer. A very enjoyable, delightful story with one of the best narrators. Sit back and enjoy.
"Finally we meet the wonderful Patrick Riordan"
I feel like these people are family. I love the relationship Robyn Carr creates. I am happy she finally let us meet the youngest Riordan brother "Patty". You can't help but love those Riordan boys and how they get into each others business. Meeting more of Jack's family was good. What a sweet niece and Jack - well what can you say, wish I had someone like Jack. Another great book.
"Light reading, enjoyable but perdictable"
I grew up in Texas so I truly appreciate Sandra Brown's stories that take place is West Texas. The story is good. I liked all of the characters, but I wish some times that Sandra wouldn't repeat thoughts so much. Joyce Bean has such a way of bringing characters alive.
"Another Barbara Holloway success."
A surprise ending
How the murder was investigated
Yes. Carrington Macduffie is great. One of my favorite readers. I have actually looked her up to see what other books she has read. I have listened to more that 600 books in the past 5 years.
no. I listen to books off and on all day.
I hope that Kate Wilhelm comes out with a new book soon.
