What about Ellen Archer’s performance did you like?

I am constantly amazed by what a great job Ellen Archer does with the different character voices and acting the lines - not just reading them. She makes it so easy to get immersed in the book.

    Any additional comments?

I've been loving the Green Rider series - especially on audiobook. I was really pleased when the 2nd and 3rd books were just a good as the first one. But I was disappointed with this one. I felt like there was too much recap, inner monologue, and talking. I missed the action and pace of the other books. This book spent a lot of time on castle politics. Even though it was clearly thought-through, it was simply a little boring. And maybe I listened to this book too quickly after the last one, but I got impatient by the constant recap of what had happened in the last book. But I would still listen to it and the next book since all in all, I really enjoy all the characters and the storytelling. I'll just chalk this one up to a blip in the series.
