    What made the experience of listening to Wild the most enjoyable?

    The description of Cheryl's journey along the PCT was terrific, and the reader is excellent.


    Who was your favorite character and why?

    Cheryl, obviously. I enjoyed her journey through life as well as her journey along the PCT.


    Have you listened to any of Bernadette Dunne’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    No.


    Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes - I loved it.


    Any additional comments?

    I highly recommend this book, particularly if you are interested in hiking any of the national trails. I've done some hiking, and can relate to the Monster backpack. Obviously, you would not want to use this book as a guide and you'd want to be much more prepared than Cheryl, but it's a fun book and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

    I bought this because some of the reviews said this book was better than the last couple. It isn't. It's the same thing over and over again. Loved the humor in the earlier books but it's just getting old. I listened to about an hour, then skipped to the last 5 minutes or so. That was enough for me. I won't be purchasing Eighteen (if there is one).
