Justin and Libby Denbe have the kind of life you’d find in the pages of a glossy magazine: A beautiful 14-year-old daughter. A gorgeous brownstone on a tree-lined street in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood. A great marriage, admired by all. A perfect life. When investigator Tessa Leone arrives at the crime scene in the foyer of the Denbes’ home, she finds scuff marks on the floor and a million tiny pieces of bright green Taser confetti. The family appears to have been abducted.

Theodore Bundy was one of the more infamous, and flamboyant, American serial killers on record, and his story is a complex mix of psychopathology, criminal investigation, and the U.S. legal system. This in-depth examination of Bundy's life and his killing spree that totaled dozens of victims is drawn from legal transcripts, correspondence and interviews with detectives and prosecutors. Using these sources, new information on several murders is unveiled.

I have read many books and articles on Ted Bundy but in this work learned so much more about the man. He was just pure evil~absolutely NO redeeming qualities. We will never know for sure how many women he murdered or how many barely escaped his depravity. Very interesting listen, great narration, and highly recommended for those interested in true crime.

If It Doesn't Go Away, Come Back is a collection of short, autobiographical stories about a woman living with systemic lupus erythematosus. Through well-crafted prose, Neva Cavataio delivers funny, hopeful, unflinching, and realistic snapshots of living with an on-going illness. From on-the-job dog bites and lupus flares to wig store salespeople and marshmallow Peeps, each story offers a unique perspective into the life of a person who has, with humble honesty and redemptive humor, learned to live life for the moment.

Very honest and frank work on living with lupus. Despite the health problems caused by her disease and the necessary drugs, Neva is hopeful and moving on...what a brave young woman. We never know what health problems people deal with everyday~this is a lighthearted snapshot of Neva's life while living with a chronic illness. Would love to hear more of her story. Great narration by Meww Gomez. Highly Recommended....

Yoga and meditation have been used for centuries to get the body back in balance, to get rid of built up stress and rid the mind of clutter. To learn exactly what benefits can be had from practicing these two disciplines Yoga Mediation: The Guide for Yoga for Beginners is the perfect tool. It was created from the perspective of an author that had a positive journey into the world of yoga.

Written in simple terms, it quickly explains the disciplines and practices of yoga and then goes on to tell one how to begin his/her journey~which I intend to continue. I really enjoyed listing and learning and recommend for all ages.

Robin Mulcahey has always dreamed of being a big-time actress. As a college student, she took endless drama classes and finally snagged the lead of Maggie in Tennessee Williams's Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Now, six years later, she's one of the country's hottest soap-opera stars. She's just won a Daytime Emmy for her portrayal of South Riding's bad girl, and now when it seemed life couldn't get any more perfect, she's wed Declan Blair, an up-and-coming Irish film actor. So what's the problem? Robin Mulcahey is dead.

This was my first Carole Bellacera listen but will not be my last. A rich girl and a poor girl become great friends while college roommates. Car accident and an identity switch, handsome brother/boyfriend, and the story of Amy & Robin becomes a real page turner. Characters to love and a few really disgusting human beings. The narration by Angie Hickman is fabulous and the ending leaves no unanswered questions. I could not stop listening..... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Betts Monroe is a country music rags-to-riches story. As the daughter of the town slut, she clawed her way up from the bars of Bourbon Street to the Country Music Hall of Fame. She's America's sweetheart, darling of the media, and a multi-platinum star. But she has a secret. At the age of sixteen, she had a baby and gave him up for adoption because her boyfriend wasn't ready for fatherhood. Now she finds out that her precious baby boy has been living with his father from day one.

Such a great listen~absolutely loved every minute. Betts Monroe is a country music star who had a son when she was a teenager. She reluctantly gave the baby up for adoption and finds out that he (now a teen) has been living with his biological father, Gabe Swanson, for years. The characters are so likable and very well developed. Though it deals with various serious topics the story moves along delightfully and at times I was laughing out loud. Narration by Pam Dougherty is fabulous. PLACE YOUR BETTS was so much fun that upon completion I immediately purchased and downloaded Katie Graykowski's PERFECT SUMMER.

    Highly recommended.

I could not stop listening to this audiobook. You will laugh, cry, and fall in love with David and Lucy. Loved that all but one chapter is told from David's POV. Many tough topics (young love, parental love, virginity, adoption, abortion, child abuse, death) are so tastefully covered. There is also religion but not in a preachy way. This beautiful story grabbed my attention from the beginning to the very last word. This is an audiobook I will listen to again and also recommend to others. Male or female, ages 15 to 90+ ~ will enjoy this listen.

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. But when it comes to human emotions, the reaction is never equal. No one understands this lesson better than the partners at the prestigious accounting firm of Winscott & Associates. Greed, power, money and sex left six people dead and four in the hospital. Audra Tanner never realized how far and deep the ripple she created in her revenge pool would extend.
