"Couldn't finish!"
Nothing. This book was so bad. The characters were shallow and although they were supposed to be elite genius's... their vocabular was lacking and dull. I expected that the characters would have grown enormously from the first book... considering all they had been through. It seemed as though they regressed into a bunch of shallow, lazy, morons.
Probably not
His voices for the characters... especially Josh... made them sound like 12 year old boys. At this point, these characters should have been mature men and women.

I really really wanted to like this book. I was so hoping that it would be better than the first one as the characters aged... it wasn't. I could not even finish the book... the characters were just so spoiled and shallow and silly.
"Great Book!"
I used the whispersync option so I combined the audible version with my kindle version. The narration was excellent.
I really didn't have a favorite character. I felt like the characters were all very well developed and I enjoyed all of them.
"Sooo disappointing"
Maybe. I got the 3 previous books and felt that each book became less and less enjoyable. This book was my "last chance" to save the series for me... but it was awful. It's almost like each book follows pretty much the same storyline... distressed woman, forbidden love, hero, true love forever... it has gotten pretty sickening.
I am not sure.

I hated the scenes that, in my opinion, were abusive
I am soo disappointed. I really loved the first book... the concept and the idea of the psy-changeling world was such an exciting idea... but unfortunately, this is just a redundant love story being rewritten over and over.
"Excellent Book"
I think the narration of this book was excellent. I also think this is a silly question.
Being an American, I think that actually hearing the book in the British accent really made it more authentic.
Chystal Weedon was the most memorable character. Her life was so tragic.
This book was excellent! Rowling has no problem writing for an adult audience... can't wait her next book!
"Not as good as I've come to expect"
Absolutely. Tavia Gilbert is always exceptional and I love Jeaniene Frost. This book was good... the story wasn't as developed as most of her other books... a bit disappointing.
She is able to really bring the emotion of the characters to the story. She is an excellent narrator.
If the story were longer and better developed. It felt a bit rushed... most of the stories I've read from Jeaniene Frost have been significantly longer. Still worth the ready, especially if you've been following her storyline...
I will continue to purchase her books as she writes them... I really love her stories.
"Frustrating... I wanted to like this book!"
Well, I don't know that it would have been a 5 star rating regardless... the writing is just not 5 star. However, I would have rated it much much higher if the narration had been better.
I will probably make a paper purchase for the second book rather than an audio purchase. I feel that the narration destroys the story.
She was way too young for this genre. Her performance was more suited for a teen. Very bad... especially the male voices... This book should have been narrated by Tavia Gilbert... she is exceptional and with the popularity of this series, I am shocked that more effort wasn't put into ensuring that it was read by a suitable narrator.
The storyline pulled you in...
Disappointed.
"Excellent"
Although this was written from true events, it was as exciting and fascinating as fiction. A truly enjoyable story... Highly recommend... especially to those who closely followed the race.
