About three things I was certain. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him, and I didn't know how dominant that part might be, that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

    "Beautiful & haunting story!"

This story took my breath away! I absolutely fell in love with the main characters and the love story is so beautifully told through the eyes of Bella. It left me wanting more & feeling sad when the book ended. However, this book is the first part of a trilogy. The next book comes out in October 2006. I can’t wait…

Deciding that true romantic heroes are a thing of the past, Eloise Kelly, an intelligent American who always manages to wear her Jimmy Choo suede boots on the day it rains, leaves Harvard's Widener Library bound for England to finish her dissertation on the dashing pair of spies the Scarlet Pimpernel and the Purple Gentian. What she discovers is something the finest historians have missed: a secret history that begins with a letter dated 1803.
