Travis Maddox learned two things from his mother before she died: Love hard. Fight harder. In Walking Disaster, the life of Travis is full of fast women, underground gambling, and violence. Just when he thought he was invincible, Abby Abernathy brings him to his knees. Every story has two sides. In Jamie McGuire's New York Times best seller Beautiful Disaster, Abby had her say. Now it's time to see the story through Travis's eyes.

Loved the little bit of potty mouth in this love story. I can absolutely feel Travis's love for her. Since I listened to Beautiful Disaster first, I would recommend listening to either or first, since the story is from each of their perspectives. Definitely recommend Walking Disaster and Beautiful Disaster.

Dr. Fuhrman presents the fascinating science that demonstrates how the current epidemic of adult cancers and other diseases is most closely linked to what we eat in the first quarter of life. He explains how a nutrient-rich diet increases a child's resistance to common childhood illnesses like asthma, ear infections, and allergies.

    Story

The content in this book was simplified in comparison to the "parent" version. I would say that even if you don't have kids, I'd still recommend reading it. It was easy to understand and apply to real life, and it made sense as to why you would apply the concepts.

The new Abby Abernathy is a good girl. She doesn’t drink or swear, and she has the appropriate number of cardigans in her wardrobe. Abby believes she has enough distance from the darkness of her past, but when she arrives at college with her best friend, her path to a new beginning is quickly challenged by Eastern University's Walking One-Night Stand. Travis Maddox, lean, cut, and covered in tattoos, is exactly what Abby needs—and wants—to avoid.

You can FEEL the love that is shared throughout this story. I couldn't stop listening to this audiobook and very much looking forward to the next.
