"Weird Title"
I don't understand why its called the secret child when the child was never a secret. A very boring book with little plot and even less of a point. The woman works in a club and the hero gets the hots so he chases after her. Eventually he gets her into his bed and they have a normal relationship eventually breaking up when she discovers he lied by omission. Yawn.
"Buyers Beware"
It's almost impossible to listen, the narrators voice sounds like a computerized voice, awful.
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"
This is the story of two unattractive people who fall in love and think of each other as the most beautiful people on earth. Its such a nice sentiment and cute story. We have the orphan niece that comes across as autistic in her artistic abilities and the benevolent would be father-in-law that never lets reality get in the way of his comforts. Very British in humor but leaves you feeling better about your fellow man.
"A mess"
This book goes back and forth way too much. Its hard to keep up with the narrative string. It would have been a much better book if it had any organization.
"Great book but..."
The abridged version comes off as rushed and the Debi Mazar is nowhere near as good as the readers for the unabridged versions. She sounds bored half the time and kinda leaves the story dead. Four to Score is one of the more important books in the series so I recommend either reading it or listening to the unabridged audio version. Three stars but the book itself is a five star read.
