An earthquake in Masada, Israel, kills hundreds and reveals a tomb buried in the heart of the mountain. A trio of investigators - Sergeant Jordan Stone, a military forensic expert; Father Rhun Korza, a Vatican priest; and Dr. Erin Granger, a brilliant but disillusioned archaeologist - are sent to explore the macabre discovery, a subterranean temple holding the crucified body of a mummified girl. But a brutal attack at the site sets the three on the run, thrusting them into a race to recover what was once preserved in the tomb's sarcophagus: a book rumored to have been written by Christ's own hand....

Would you try another book from James Rollins and Rebecca Cantrell and/or Christian Baskous?

I have read most of James Rollins books and that is why I got this one but after listening to the first chapter of the protracted killing of a child, in light of the sadness I feel over last months mass murder of children I just knew I could not listen to any more of this book.

What could James Rollins and Rebecca Cantrell have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Wrong book at wrong time I guess

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Anger and Sadness at it's start so the rest of the book might be just fine but I will never know.

You have never met an (ex) FBI agent like Brigid Quinn Brigid’s career - the disappearance and presumed murder of her young protégée, Jessica. Floyd knows things about that terrible night that were never made public, and offers to lead the cops to Jessica's body in return for a plea bargain. It should finally be the end of a dark chapter in Brigid’s life. Except…the new FBI agent on the case, Laura Coleman, thinks the confession is fake, and Brigid finds she cannot walk away from violence and retribution after all.

If you could sum up Rage Against the Dying in three words, what would they be?

    Good First Novel

What was one of the most memorable moments of Rage Against the Dying?

Her undeniable self fearlessness in work mode ability with a total lack of personal self worth. I am not sure I believe that if you kill someone in self defense that you should be considered a murderer.

Have you listened to any of Judy Kaye’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No I listened in fast mode so hard to tell

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Angered me when they lost Jessica, why turn off listening device?

Would you consider the audio edition of All of Me to be better than the print version?

I did not read the print version but loved listening to Anne read her own book.

What did you like best about this story?

I am the same age as Anne so I could really relate to all the history of her life time.

What about Anne Murray’s performance did you like?

Hey she sounds like her songs so if you are a fan what could be better plus there are a few bits of them throughout the book.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

I would not make a movie of this book since she is alive and well and there is no actress that can be her....not even her daughter who is her own person.

Since 1990, when Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time® burst on the world with its first book, The Eye of the World, listeners have been anticipating the final scenes of this extraordinary saga, which has sold over 40 million copies in over 32 languages. When Robert Jordan died in 2007, all feared that these concluding scenes would never be written. But working from notes and partials left by Jordan, established fantasy writer Brandon Sanderson stepped in to complete the masterwork.

What made the experience of listening to A Memory of Light the most enjoyable?

What a wonderful job Brandon Sanderson did to end the Wheel of Time books. Couldn't be any better. He really managed to bring it all together.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Matt, his character is so much fun.

What about Michael Kramer and Kate Reading ’s performance did you like?

    The best narrators period.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

So many characters have to die in the last battle I mourned each one of them.

    Any additional comments?

Even though this book was 41 hours long I did not wish it to end.

Days before the July Fourth holiday and the dedication of One World Trade Center at Ground Zero, an incident aboard a commercial jet flying over the Atlantic Ocean reminds everyone that vigilance is not a task to be taken lightly. But for iconoclastic NYPD detective Jeremy Fisk, it may also be a signal that there is much more to this case than the easy answer of this being just the work of another lone terrorist. Fisk suspects that the event might also be a warning sign that another scheme has been set in motion.

What would have made Naked Heat better?

If you had let the Rook character out of these books the stories would be just fine. What an arrogant A...hole. No woman would really let this jerk touch her..... I suppose because this is a male author he can make the woman do anything.......but nothing about this author's book is realistic.

Would you be willing to try another book from Richard Castle? Why or why not?

    No

Would you be willing to try another one of Johnny Heller’s performances?

    Maybe

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Naked Heat?

All those with Rook in them
