If you want action, this is the story for you! Never a dull moment.............it'll keep you interested all the way!
I've read him before, and enjoyed his work.this is no exception!
This has been one of the best books I've listened to in quite a while. I am an avid audiobook listener, and this one kept me up late, and listening early as well! I gave it 5 stars on all levels, and am not often so generous. I've recommended it to at least a dozen people in the past few days, and will continue to do so.
Being inside Maggie's head was so interesting. I've enjoyed "The Story of Edgar Sawtelle" and "The Art of Racing in the Rain" as they pertain to dogs and training. I enjoyed reading of the "trials" that Maggie was put through, and clearly the research that was done paid off in the details.
Andrews' inflection and tone both are engaging and compelling. The "thumps" resonated with me.
Man and the amazing bond with his dog ...........far, far more than you might "Suspect"
I will read many more of his books....I have 2 waiting now.
The readers were so excellent, each one diverse.
Each had unexpected twists & well drawn characters.
Best I've heard, and I've heard plenty! Inflections superb, tone magnificent....very colorful, every one! I want more!
The "killer" and I'll say no more.
Listen, and be transported!
Loved the 'Butterfly effect
When the return to the altered present occurred..........the
Other than our hero, of course, it would have to be Sadie! Love interest and very believeable.
Of course: the finale dance!
I gave a book report to my reading group last evening about 11 22 63. It was well received, and I know several will also be enjoying it as well!
Having read all but one of her books, I was eager to read this one. Somehow, I have struggled through..hoping that "something would happen".
Certainly beautifully written, but for me--disappointing.
Maybe next time.
