Toward the top -- say the top third.
It reminded me of other books from the times -- Huxley's Brave New World, the Great Gatsby, etc.
When he talks about the scene with F Scott getting himself sick when they about to start an adventure
A little too much of a good thing
If I had to do it over again I would try reading the original published version. the "extras" in this version felt tacked on and made the narrative seem disjointed.

When the last deposition is shown to the jury
The Lead Jake Brigance was a hard character to capture -- he narrates but he has many facets to his personality. I understood who we was and where he stood every time he spoke thanks to M Beck.

It certainly seemed to have TV show written all over it. I picture the lead character as Matthew Morrison from Glee
If you like Sci Fi and are looking forward to the Adaptation of the sequel -- it is worth a read.
Yes, Elizabeth McGovern had a lovely, soothing tone. She captured the characters perfectly
Louise was enigmatic and surprising -- not always in a good way.
I have never listed to any of Elzabeth McGoverns performances, it was delightful
Cora -- she was a solid, well known characters, but her arc was very interesting and her ability to reexamine what she believed was refreshing
