That God loves us is the most profound truth in the universe. Experiencing this love has the potential to answer every question, solve every problem, and satisfy the deepest yearnings of the heart. So why are many people who believe this still unable to fully utilize the power of God's love in their personal lives? In this probing book, Dr. David Jeremiah reveals that not fully understanding and appreciating every critical dimension of God's love can lead to missed opportunities to experience His love.

What made the experience of listening to God Loves You the most enjoyable?

David Jerimiah gives a message so important it is often not talked about. The title might suggest a book a la Joel Osteen and in a way it is, but this is bible based and the author is not afraid to say that God and wrath are two-sides of the same coin. He does stresses that God loves you, but in order for it to be effective you must receive His love. He will always forgive you, if you repent because He created you and He knows your week as well as your strong points. The book is deep and easy to understand, but good to always have on hand because this message is the key to a true Christ-like life.

What did you like best about this story?

God is always there: We do our part His Son perfected the rest thus, what people think about the way you look or other such matters does not matter to Him. The world wants the "perfect" look etc and looks with shame on those who might appear different. God does not make mistakes. He makes h

Have you listened to any of Bob Walter’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, but I really enjoyed this.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

    The authors boldness.

    Any additional comments?

If you are a Christian or a jew get this because you will love this honest message. Over and over again. Yes, it is worth your much loved credit.

For fans of Tina Fey and David Sedaris - Internet star Jenny Lawson, aka The Bloggess, makes her literary debut. Jenny Lawson realized that the most mortifying moments of our lives - the ones we'd like to pretend never happened - are in fact the ones that define us. In Let's Pretend This Never Happened, Lawson takes readers on a hilarious journey recalling her bizarre upbringing in rural Texas, her devastatingly awkward high school years, and her relationship with her long-suffering husband, Victor.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

If the person like crazier humor than say( Oh,like say Tina Fey or Mindy something. I did not enjoy the above mentioned authors; I did enjoy this) it is read in a natural tempo; in a way it is read so naturally. It is like she talks to a friend. Everyone on anti-depressants can somehow see themselves in the way she looks at regular situation as a huge thing. The funniest situations( at least in audio edition) takes place in her head. It gets three overfall stars because it is funny the very first time. This is not a multiplum-times listening experience: Perfect for a day you have $19.10, needingba great laughter and need to se bloggers like us as the crazy ones.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Made it shorter and include Victor's voice.

What about Jenny Lawson’s performance did you like?

    She is genuinly cool-crazy blogger.

What else would you have wanted to know about Jenny Lawson’s life?

Her parents should have created a speech where we'd get ther verson.

Why we think it’s a great listen: Never before has an author’s narration of his fiction been so important to fully grasping the book’s impact and global implications. Taking us from Afghanistan in the final days of its monarchy to the present, The Kite Runner is the unforgettable story of the friendship between two boys growing up in Kabul. Their intertwined lives, and their fates, reflect the eventual tragedy of the world around them.

Where does The Kite Runner rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I wish Audible could drop this question: Different geners, different mods. I cannot rate them by number. This IS a journey; not a title. It does not have a bad moment. It is a book I will go back to over and over.

What other book might you compare The Kite Runner to and why?

    No book can compare.

What does Khaled Hosseini bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He "takes" us to Afghanistan we are there with him. We suffer, laugh and cry with him.

If you could take any character from The Kite Runner out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Hassan: I'd say angels sometimes comes in the form of a human being.

Would you listen to You Can Heal Your Life (Unabridged, Adapted for Audio) again? Why?

Yes! Yes! Yes! You see, this book is one of the few which is based on the iconic self-study course "A course in miracles". The original course is very heavy. The language and the ideas are written in an academic writing style. When I first heard the text I was amazed but also felt a little helpless. The ideas are so different and the language makes it a job understanding it. It sent me on a journey looking for a teacher. There are many. And they make a lot of money. This is where this comes in: Unlike other skilled teachers Louise use a daily language. No foregin words. This book helps you dare to think about trying to think differently. If you have not read the course itself please buy this gem. Like a safety blanket this removes a lot of fear and since love does not dissolve but it is hidden behind fear. I do not like regulær self-help books but titles based on the course are not your regular self-help. I love miracles changing from fear to love.

This book is like a pearl: Everyone can use and enjoy it.

What was one of the most memorable moments of You Can Heal Your Life (Unabridged, Adapted for Audio)?

The book is a moment: Everything makes perfectly good sense.

Have you listened to any of Louise L. Hay’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    No. She is truly genuine.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The healing you find within yourself.

From Lauren Graham, the beloved star of Gilmore Girls and Parenthood, comes a witty, charming, and hilariously relatable debut novel about a struggling young actress trying to get ahead - and keep it together - in New York City. It’s January 1995, and Franny Banks has just six months left of the three-year deadline she set for herself when she came to New York, dreaming of Broadway and doing "important" work. But all she has to show for her efforts so far is a part in an ad for ugly Christmas sweaters, and a gig waiting tables at a comedy club....

What made the experience of listening to The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat the most enjoyable?

Due to my reduced vision Irely on audiobooks. Since I love books I usually buy several audibooks a week. Since audiobooks is a costly experience I am picky when it comes to how I use my credit. I found this by looking at what was trending in fiction. Thank PeterI did! I love stories in which you get to know the characters in a way that makes the story easy to follow. Stories about daring to be different has always inspired me. Colored ladies are historically very brave so this said:" I am credit proof " and it really is worthy your credit. To me, it had a dash of Gilmore girls meets "The help" and Bridget Jones. It is structured so perfectly: Past and pressent becomes one and you are drawn in. It deals with gossip, cancer, God Ghost, finding yourself and much more. Once you begin to listen you enter their diner hence the Gilmore girls reference.

In this book you will discover how easy it can be to bound with fictional people. If you like "The help" Then you will most likely love this because of the strong stories and the differences which unites us. It spans over decades unlike "The help" making me closer to the characters.

What did you like best about this story?

The way simple conversations between bestfriends was authentic enough to make time stand still. Strong ladies are so inspiring!

Have you listened to any of Adenrele Ojo and Pamella D'Pella ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, this was a first. The way Odette was read annoyed me at first, because every sentence ended in the same tone. I grew to love it however since that voice managed to become Odette.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes! It is rarely a book manage to take me in like this. Who can resist the story of a man carrying his sick friend to her tree? To discover he picked the wrong one? The humor within this sad story manage to turn what we could have seen as victims into victors. It is beyond great and no, I did not spoil the end because Odette might be born in a tree but she did not die there..,

    Any additional comments?

The sad thing about this book? I did not want it to end. I love it and will "visit" my new friends by listening to it again and again.

I might. The story is pretty predictable. The ending however suprised me. Which is why I would maybe listen to it again. It was money well spent.

The trip when Rosie and Don go to New York. I want to go on that exact trip.

Which character – as performed by Dan O'Grady – was your favorite?

Everybody usually keeps on saying that their favourite character is the main character, however I loved Claudia and Julie.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Since this is a collection which is created by Dr. Dyer there is no favorite new character. The calming effects it will have on those listening makes the favorite character the calming feeling you will get.

This short book is filled with words which will tick you off because it is based on " A course in miracles"'s theory unless you have tried the course, which is a self-study based program created on Colombia University teaching you to think very differently from what the society is based on. Example: The society says: "If people have more money than me they are more worthy than me." The course says:" We are all spiritual beings and by chosing love over fear a miracle is created" and the course teach that there are enough to us all and we do not need to step on toes to get our needs filled… rather by training ourself to ser others as equial no matter who we are or where we are from… You are created by love as the course says. You may refer to it as God,Buddha, Ing you get the picture.

Since I try to live the course the content mostly lifts me up.

If you have never done the course but enjoy to hear you are great you will love it.

Which character – as performed by Wayne W. Dyer – was your favorite?

The calming fantastic speaker he is. In this recording he does not read it like his other books rather he leads you in a great, beyond regular calming-meditative voice. Fantastic before going to sleep or when you are waking-up.

What did you learn from Everyday Wisdom that you would use in your daily life?

This title with it's almost pocket-size for your player/computer is perfect to play when you are down. No matter when you turn it on you will find the perfect quote to lift you up. Be sure to buy it because it is in my humble opinion not tyoical self-help. It gives you things to think about in an uolifting way not found in any other audiobook.

    Any additional comments?

Buy it you will most likely enjoy it very very much. I hope to see more people getting to know this listen.

You've likely heard of the Westboro Baptist Church. Perhaps you've seen their pickets on the news, the members holding signs with messages that are too offensive to copy here, protesting at events such as the funerals of soldiers, the 9-year old victim of the recent Tucson shooting, and Elizabeth Edwards, all in front of their grieving families. Since no organized religion will claim affiliation with the WBC, it's perhaps more accurate to think of them as a cult. Lauren Drain was thrust into that cult at the age of 15, and then spat back out again seven years later.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Yes: The book proves individuals are very different. The begining shows how her father abused her BEFORe she came to the WBC. I felt the first part almost promoted what WBC stands for. I had to remind myself in these chapters how Drain was no longer a member. Her comments about others who has left made me think less of this story. I think it would be a more balanced book if Libby,Josh, Becca and Meghan alongside the other Youth leaving had written a book together. After all: They grew up in this and of course their opinions differ.

What did you like best about this story?

The. part where you get to listen to where her opinions lay today.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Lauren Drain?

    Yes

What else would you have wanted to know about Lauren Drain’s life?

To me it seems like she never belonged in the WBC. She played her part over and over to get praise from her father. I think even when she got sothe phase where her acting became truth. Members might have seen her for what she was. An outsider movedcby forrce by her dad. He is the one I have the hardest time even trying to understand. I know her motto is peace, however, if she ever get hard facts about him and other females I hope she will take her mother asside asking her:" Do you let dad run the show without knowing what you actually stands for?"
