Unlike other series which usually have an ending each of these listens does not have real clossure. While serious like the hunger games, leave you wanting more, you do get an actually closure to that chapter in the characters life. In the house of night it feels like the authours takes away the four final chapters. This is both annoying and almost a blessing. Annoying because no matter kind of other titles you try to listen too, they are unable to fill the void from the house of night. It is a blessing, simply because adults who really enjoy cliffhangers finally have a series which is a non stop. If this book really hit home, do not wait, but simply buy the next one. Because as soon as its over I can promise, that you will want more. It is important to remember that chosen unlike book nr. 2, is even more explit than book nr. 1, which means it is not child or work safe.
This story is really intense. In fact it is perfect because it is not divided in two parts even though it is almost as long as other previous books. It is also a reminder to those of you who might think the magic in the book seems cool and harmless. I think it is good that the authors actually does their best to warn people about not to use it.
The scene where Neferet is truly seen. When you listen, just remember: "light does not always portray light".
It made me buy the next one. Even though they change the narrator in book four.
This is truly an amazing series, as a Christian I find it hard to navigate the different trilogy options. So this book is amazing, but hopefully the scenes will not be more like fifty shades of grey in the upcoming books. Because it would mean that I would not enjoy listening anymore, would it serve the purpose of the story.
Honest, one-sitting and well written.
Adam - because of his actions.
Bad things happen but God is in full control
A thrill. Clean Christian romance with a storyline that makes you see it could happen to you.
The way characters and different era's take you on a journey like few other novels match. The Personalitiea are Amazingly Heartwarming
Ethan: Won't spoil the story , when you listen you will see why.
Ethan and Jools at the office.
Life: Things change but remains the same.
The main desire map is not your boring self development listen. It is a new angle which Requres your willingness to honestly answer yourself: How do you want to feel? Each listener will get a very different results. This is alternative but not New age. Filled with God but not religious
This is new theory.
By being herself. She even freestyles in the audio from.
It was perfect!
Yes: Go for this if you are new to the desire map. Ready to make it? Go for the full desire map experience. This is great for those who like me wants everything Danielle laporte .
I have not read the print. Rosalyn Landor is one of few able to give men a true authentic voice.
Including a chapter seen from those mattering to Lexi. What do they each really think and feel?
Her work is beyond fantastic!
This was not "just another romance novel". It felt authentic and the strict Bishop is one of the most well-written characters in this clean amazingly written Christian series. Ada scene where a woman dares to speak-up after 30 year's and you have this book.
Book one in this series: "Plain promise" the first book introduces us to Jonas who. i really wish was a new person.
The Bishop is introduced to his wife' stash and goes bananas
Faith: The untold pain truth.
I have not read the printed edition. However, this is narration-art which needs to be awarded. Rarely have I heard anything close to this. Outstanding just like the narration for "The help".
The fact this story was written in the pressent, even when we clearly follow them over decades. You do 't notice but it wraps you in and you can't stop listening.
Luther and Omar.
Yes. Why did it have to end?
Credit worthy an instant Audible essential.
Surprising,heart-breaking and well-written
I would let each chapter be told by a different character. This should be a series. The last filthy minutes tried to wrap it up too fast. This book should be required reading in this day and age.
The heartbreaking song to the girl he loves
Yes: When he saw what he lost
Do not let my rating hold you back. It is painfully true. Sadly too short.
All listening experiences are worth it.
Sad but true:A typical horrible experiences turned into book.
A whole lot. Plus some details should have been taken out because this is sadly a book sex-offenders might get some stupid danger filled ideas from . I wish an expert would have looked through it to remove excplit scenes.
Yes. The endibg. It is an important idea and every adult and teen needs to listen to it.
Yes. Skip the health-workers advice in future books
It is a must.
Totally credit proof.
I have not read the printed version. If you have reduced vision: Do NOT let the narrator stop you! I bought this because I wanted a scripture-based listen: And boy! This is what I hoped "Everyday a Friday" by Joel Osteen would be like. I returned Joel's book because it did not have enough scriptures. This on the other hand is filled. My advice: Take the scriptures out while listening so you can see for yourself. This book is not done in one sitting: I used three days on this. Still, I will be going back again and again.
You can change your thoughts.
No, I do wish they used another narrator… This is after all and updated edition
No. I rather come back!
Every. Christian need this audiobook.
