Very good teacher. I would recommend this book to all people, but especially to young people. These lectures help us to understand ourselves and others better. The brain, genes, and environments. This is in lecture format, so if at first you find them boring, do not stop. You will not know what you missed, but you will miss what you don't know.
Love this series of teaching lectures. Great addition to Audible.
I am not the most detailed person. So i was looking for a book that seemed interesting to use a credit on so i could fullfill the requirements of a 10.00 credit. I looked at the preorder category and thought i was buying a book in the sci fy genre. A girl rides her special bike and finds a bridge that takes her to find lost things."How interesting" I thought.
This book is so much more. It is not for everyone, however it is so well done, it will be read by many genre jumpers. This book will not leave me for some time and Charlie will always be with me.
The narration is top notch. Charlie is introduced early in the book and from that moment on I couldn't look away. I have recommended it to everyone.
I told a friend "It was Stephen Kingish. He told me two days later that Joe Hill was Steven Kings son.
Last But not least, when the narration of the story ends, don't stop listening. Joe Hill go's on to talk. There is a cute little story about how he would have liked to be a childrens author.
I hope you enjoy your trip with Charlie to Christmas land where every day is like Christmas morning, and every night like Christmas Eve.
I was born in mid 1960's and grew up in desegregated florida. This book revealed facts about america that I would have never known otherwise. I grew up 50 miles south of Mims and race was rarely discussed, however it was always present. Knowledge and perspectives from both sides of racism are important if we are to ever completely eliminate hatred based solely on skin color. Perhaps that is too utopian a dream and may very well be the message that we gleam from the author. The characters sought a land void of racism, what they found was something different. Please do not miss this one.
This is the ending that must be. Sanderson wraps the story up, about as neatly as it can be. If you have invested the time to listen to the series, this book certainly is worth your time, One of my favorites of the entire series.
I have hundreds of titles in my audible library and many more from the local library. This book stands above all others. As long as human society exists this topic will have relevance, and should be remembered. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
This whole series offers an escape from reality. It reads like a comic book, and is perfectly enjoyable.
It seems to me that there is very little information about Mitt Romney that is easily accessible. This book, after the first read, left me with the impression that I know Mitt Romney better and understand a little more of who he is. I believe it was written from a mostly unbiased perspective and mentions both good and not so good impressions. This book feels like a documentary.
100% testosterone. So unbelievable and yet that is what makes this series so good. Ready for the next one. The narration is perfect for the attitude of the book. Very entertaining.
Economics can be very difficult to understand and i am just beginning to learn. This book has a lot of good useful information that i could easily understand.
I really enjoy these over the top, cannot even be close to real books. Don' t expect to learn anything. Sometimes that is exactly what i want.
