I would say that Invincible: The Lost Fleet: Beyond the Frontier ranks among the top 10% of all the audiobooks I have listened to so far. This is good storytelling that has science fiction, physics, intrigue, and politics all rolled up neatly keeping the reader interested all the time.
I can't compare this to another series. To me this is very original. This isn't like Old Mans War or Star Trek or Star Wars.
Christian Rummel is able to change his voice without distracting you and also doing it accents and female and male tones...It makes me wonder how he remembers the different voices because some characters don't talk very much like once or twice a book and yet they match.
No, I was constantly anticipating different things so it was more like that.
I can't wait for the next book.
Yes, Luke Daniels makes this book come alive.
All the other Iron Druid books and possibly the Dresden stuff.
The dog voice
yes....when it ended I wanted to get the next book
I want the next book
No, well maybe the sound effects could make it even more.
Ok, Ok, Ok
Not having it.
Something totally different.
I would quit my job as editor and get a better book. This was boring.
Not another one from Arthur Conan Doyle. This was boring and slow paced. I'm sure that during the time period it was written it was awesome but we have better writers now.
I would add sound effects and music
I would consider the audio edition of Monster Hunter Nemesis to be better than the print version. The narrator makes the story come alive. The writing is awesome and it has both an action packed plot, and character development that you can see develop from other books in this series.
Well, obviously we switch in this book so I don't have favorites but it is interesting to see a different point of view.
Hands down awesome
I would see this movie....it would be violent!
No, I would not listen to anything by Abe Kass and R.S.W. again.
No, I would not be willing to try another one of Wayne June's performances.
This is a tool.
The details....I felt that I was listening to a real professor but a professor who was interesting. The book seems to have all the interesting parts of Genghis Khan.
Expressive, Easy, Clear
I would say that listening to this book answered questions and resolved the series.
The most disappointing part of the story is how it ended. I mean...it ended but it was obvious that we would not discover anything more.
Yes, I would consider the audio edition of the Scorch Trials to be better than the print. The narration has expression and the characters seem to take to life.
This book narration is better than the last.
I think Mark Deakins's performances are all good. He does well when transitioning from male and female characters.
No, I like to listen to it in multiple sittings.
Yes, I would try another book from C.C. Hunter and or Katie Schorr. Katie does a very good job capturing the essence of Della.
The most interesting aspect of the story is that Vampires in this series can have children and the rebirth part but I wouldn't want to give up the good parts.
I would listen to another narration by Katie Schorr.
Not recommending this book if you did not like Twilight. This book is mostly character development as opposed to action.
