This story is a pleasant adventure. I liked the challenge of being encouraged to not shrink from my convictions at work and in my daily life. Could I be as bold?

A dark power is at work, intent on gaining complete control of the CradleLand, the birthplace of the still-young world. All that stands in the Power's way is one troublesome line of humans: descendants of Seth. They are of the only remaining clan clinging to an all-but-dead faith. And yet it's from that faith that a prophecy threatens all plans of world dominion.

    Story

I ran across this story by accident, but I really, really enjoyed this story. I can't wait until my boys are bigger so I can read it to them. It took while to get used to the narrator - too many pregnant pauses. But I still had a good time listening to this.

    Story

I enjoyed thinking through the issues and solutions with the characters. I also appreciated that the dialog was not "sanitized" but seemed real. Has me thinking about how I might react in a disaster.
