Saturday, 0911 hours — A blast rocks a London hospital and thousands are dead or injured. 1009 hours — Joe Ledger arrives on scene to investigate. The horror is unlike anything he has ever seen. Compelled by grief and rage, Ledger rejoins the Department of Military Sciences, and within hours he's attacked by a hit team of assassins and sent on a suicide mission.

Where does The King of Plagues rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I am a newbie with audio books, Out of the first 3 Joe Ledger novels this one ranks 3rd.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

The plot was good and the ending has twists I did not see coming, but it was just missing that something the first two books had.

Have you listened to any of Ray Porter’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

The performance of Ray Porter was excellent!! He really brings characters to life in this reading. That is why I give the review a 5 out of 5 overall.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Joe Ledger and his team did make me laugh out loud at times. I am really growing to like Joe. I describe him as Jack Bauer with a smart ass attitude.
