    Following his visit to the red planet of Malacandra, known to our world as Mars, Dr Ransom's adventures continue when he is called to the beautiful paradise planet of Perelandra, or Venus, which is in grave peril. There he discovers floating islands and bubble trees, as well as his old enemy Dr Weston, who is intent upon evil once more. Ransom must engage in a desperate struggle to save the purity of Perelandra.

    Would you consider the audio edition of Perelandra to be better than the print version?

    For me the audio edition would be slightly better than the printed version. Lewis' lengthy musings on complicated subjects is easier to take in when dramatized.


    What did you like best about this story?

    I love C.S. Lewis' boundless creativity! The story tries to take you away from preconceived ideas about heavenly beings and religion.


    Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

    The idea of a creation trying to impress it's creator by attempting to become more like it was so well explained in this book.
