It's a bird! It's a plane! It's six exciting episodes of The Adventures of Superman! In this action-packed serial, which aired from April 3 to 12, 1940, Superman is faced with the mystery of a missing explorer - and an even more mysterious sacred emerald of the Incas. Does the jewel hold the power to save the human race?

Would you consider the audio edition of Adventures of Superman, Vol. 4 to be better than the print version?

even when superman has all the great strength of Kypton with him on earth, it is interesting that he can not save everyone. even he can not save everyone from death, especially when stuck as Clark Kent. but the reporter is able to continue to help in the end make sure everyone's able to get to a happy end.

What does the narrator bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

the old radio shows have really cheesy sound effects that helped with he imagination to experience the joys of the program

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, being a hour long it is easy to do

    Any additional comments?

If you ever need to call for help superman is always there to give his aid. If you ever have a hard time trying to decide what to listen to, the ten minute shows are great to help give a short fun entertainment that will never grow old

Days left till the final battle. Demigods prepare to fight the impossible war that is coming and the Gods are busy fighting another threat. How do you win a war with the Titans when the Gods are not there.

a exciting end to the series. with twists no one would expect. Just a few more hours till you get to the end make sure you have time to listen to this because its going to be painful if you have to stop lots while you listen.

One more challenge. Why cant summer camp just be normal. Oh yeah Percy Jackson is a demigod one of the few at camp half blood. and when the evil Titan king is raising and he hates you and your camp. well you got to fight for survival. Defenses are up but there is one disadvantage. A secret door into the camp will let monsters in past the tree.

In this book Jesse Bernstein makes a change up. He goes from pronouncing Hera the American way to pronouncing it the Greek way. this is a big confusing moment to listeners but after a while you get use to it

Grover is in Percy's dreams and the end of the camp is near. Percy has to stay back as his rival in the camp gets to go on a quest to save camp. Does he behave or sneak away to save Grover and the tree.

Again the narration is fantastic. Everyone knows who is talking at any point and the voices are the same from book one making it just as easy to follow. another book that's great for family or solo.

Twelve-year-old Percy Jackson is about to be kicked out of boarding school...again. No matter how hard he tries, he can't seem to stay out of trouble. But can he really be expected to stand by and watch while a bully picks on his scrawny best friend? Or not defend himself against his pre-algebra teacher when she turns into a monster and tries to kill him? Of course, no one believes Percy about the monster incident; he's not even sure he believes himself.

Rick Riordan has created a great story that merges Greek Mythology with the modern world. Did you know that the Greek Gods have moved to america? that they still have demi gods? Those demi gods have a training camp (no Danny Daveto does not train them). What happens when the symbol of Zeus is stolen?

Jesse Bernstein does a great job narrating this story making sure that every important person in the story has a great and unique voice. his skills make it so that its easy to follow the story and powerful enough to keep them entertained.

This be a book for your kids on a long car ride or for your personal listen I think you will enjoy this book no matter where you are, or what you are doing.

What would you do if you saw your dad blow up a ancient Egyptian artifact? doubt I would be as cool and calm as these two kids. especially after learning out i can do magic, that a god wants to kill me as well as other magicians.

With the help of a Goddess, and the two gods hidding in these sibblings they will take on this evil god. but will they submit to the demands of the gods inside them to take over or can they hold them off.

What i love about this book is that when is Sadi telling the story Katherine Kellgren is narrating it. and when Carter is telling the story Keven Free takes over. making it feel much like you are actually hearing the tape recording of them telling everything. this gives it a great added perk from reading the story.

my only down side is after the two series i have hard of Percy Jackson well, this is so similar that I can predict lots that are happening. they also hint in this about the Olympian gods in New York.
