Good Story bad Narration. The thing I really wanted to point out, is that this book seems to have at least 3 different people reading it. The first narrator is good and you get used to him then they change to a second one for a brief part. But I just got to a new section with a new reader that is so different and frankly over the top theatrical that it has ruined the book for me. I have stopped listening to it and am considering buying the physical book in order to finish the story. very strange choice by whomever recorded this...
Im sorry to say that this book is just not good. It dragged so badly. Most of the book was about things that happened before the big event. I wanted to listen to it before seeing the movie, but sadly this may be the one time that the movie is better than the book. I have listened to many seal team books and this particular book I just can't recommend. I want to be clear that I have the utmost respect and thanks to this seal and all seals for protecting America, as well as the rest of the armed forces. This is not a reflection on them or their service…… just the writing of this story.
the story was well written from an environment point of view. But the plot took forever to get to the climax. It was too long winded.
