This is one of the few books that made me reevaulate some of my beliefs. I'm not a changed man after 1 listen, but the ideas and advice within this book really struck home for me. If you enjoyed "The Power of Now" by Ekhart Tolle, you probably won't be disappointed here.
This story pulled me in within the first few minutes. I couldn't put my iPhone down for the last 10 hours. There's something about King's writing style that immerses me into his stories like no other. Under the Dome is no exception. I read some reviews that criticized the narrator, but I really liked him. A bad narrator can ruin a great story & I was a little worried that would be the case here based on some review comments. I liked Raul's reading style from the sample & wasn't disappointed after listening to the full book. He really brought the characters to life with his reading. Admittedly, the voices he gave for a few characters didn't quite work for me, but what he added to the story is far more than what he took away. I really liked him overall & look forward to hearing more of his work on Audible in the future.
