It's Dan Calebow's worst nightmare: Phoebe Somerville, a trendy New York knockout, inherits the Chicago Stars, the football team he coaches. And she wants to help him run it. Phoebe's sure he needs her. He's a sexist good-ol'-boy jock with a one-track mind. Surely she can straighten him out.

I have recommended this book. I love sports and romance so this series is perfect. I've listened to all of the Chicago Stars series and enjoyed all of the books.

Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten. Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning-author John Green’s most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

This is a very moving story line. You are drawn to the characters immediately. You heart just breaks for these kids. As a mother, I relate to the parents as well and can't imagine their heart break. This book is one of the best books I have ever read. I recommend it to everybody I know. Though it is a teenager book, it will move anybody that reads it. It doesn't get much better than this!

Don Tillman, professor of genetics, has never been on a second date. So when an acquaintance informs him that he would make a "wonderful" husband, his first reaction is shock. Yet he must concede to the statistical probability that there is someone for everyone, and Don sets out to find the perfect partner. She will be punctual and logical - most definitely not a barmaid, a smoker, a drinker, or a late-arriver. Yet Rosie Jarman is all these things. She is also beguiling, fiery, intelligent - and on a quest of her own....

If you could sum up The Rosie Project in three words, what would they be?

    A lot of Fun

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Rosie Project?

I love Don's character. He is hysterical.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Don't judge a man by his cover.

    Any additional comments?

This book is really well written and super funny. I enjoyed it very much. I laughed and laughed at some of the things Don does. It is not a typical romance novel at all. It will keep your attention.

She's had enough of playing the good wife to a husband who thinks he's doing her a favor keeping her around. Now, she's going to take some time forherself - in the familiar comforts and stunning beauty of Charleston, her beloved hometown.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

The story was average. The narration is one of the worst I've ever heard.

Would you be willing to try another book from Dorothea Benton Frank? Why or why not?

    With another narrator' maybe.

What didn’t you like about Robin Miles’s performance?

The accent was part southern (nobody from the south talks like this), the 'ou' sound was canadian, and sometimes I heard British too. Really bad!

Do you think The Last Original Wife needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No as the add tory ended on a final and good note.
