    The book was released March 1st. It wasn't up on audible yet so I went to a traditional book store and bought a copy.It is now 12:30 am on March 4th. I finished it 30 minutes ago, now audible has it up and I just bought a copy and am going to start it again tonight.

    I read a hundred books a year and I've never done anything like this before.

    Read the name of the wind, then read this. It's better in just about every way.

    This book suffers from as being the middle book in an established series. There are several abrupt changes in a few characters personalities and world elements that depart from the first two books (Inevera, how wards work, types of demons) . I anticipate though that this means Mr. Weeks has figured out the end and that these changes will improve the final two books in the series which I look forward to reading.
    If you enjoyed the first two books then you will enjoy this book. Mr. Weeks again does a great job showing a character's history and it's influence on the characters actions. Even if he only applies the consistency to some of the characters.

    Would you be willing to try another book from Brandon Sanderson? Why or why not?

    I've read the rest of his books, this is probably the worst of his books but still decent.


    What do you think the narrator could have done better?

    I would have preferred the narrator for the mistborn books. Some of the intonations were just off and not very good.

    A fantastic novel and at times the narration is perfect. The last two chapters especially are great. Unfortunately the lack of indication when a chapter starts is a serious drawback. Lee does a great job bringing out the accents and Dubliness of this book though.
